The cons on this product are worth it compared to the pros.
cons:
-shallow cup holders
-shallow opening for understorage basket (however most diaper bags now can hang from handles)
-shallow canopies on both stroller and carseat
-the most significant problem is that the stroller is not meant to hold children beyond toddler years. when you look close you'll see wings on the side of the stroller seat. these have a metal frame. this is great support for younger children, however, they will outgrow it and no longer be able to sit back since their shoulders will be too wide

pros:
-carseat level indicator is a bubble level and not and OPEN weighted level that can get hung up by being gunked up or by something under/near pushed up against the carseat
-one handed opening and closing the stroller. very east to do
-for not being an umbrella stroller, this is extremely lightweight and decent size
-stroller seat can lay down completely flat, great for changing diapers when out at the park etc
-stroller seat allows the foot rest to raise and latch to a completely vertical position when the baby is in the completely horizontal position (mentioned above)keeping them well "contained"
-carseat is ranked high and hold babies up to lb (this is the difference in price to cortina travel systems priced lower in that it has a keyfit30 and not simply a keyfit carseat. keyfit only goes up to about 20lb baby weight and keyfit30 goes up to 30lb)
-has removable and swiveling child tray and additionally a liner that is also removable
-full and adjustable handle bar

I use the travel system pretty much 5 days a week. My son and I take walks almost every day and we go out on the weekends when dad is home too. This stroller is difficult to use. The car seat never really seems to fit into the stroller. The buttons to get the car seat out are hidden and after 6 months of use, we still have a hard time locating them. It's very rickety. If you are looking for a stroller that is good for walks, don't get this one. Get a jogging stroller or one that is sturdy. Also, there is no room for storage under the car seat. When we're out, even at the farmer's market, there is hardly any room for any purchases under the stroller. It's not the worst thing in the world, but for the money, look elsewhere.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Travel System Stroller - Stix:

I received this as a gift for my newborn daughter, we were unaware of the gender of her until her birth. This travel system is gender neutral and works well for both boy and girl. The only con to this system is the weight, it is in the heavier side but it is very durable.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Travel System Stroller - Stix:

This stroller has many useful features, including cup holders and basket underneath. I really like how the handles adjust for my comfort. The sun visor on the stroller works well with the visor on the car seat. The only thing that could be improved is it is difficult to fold and unfold for storage/transport. Overall, it is a great stroller that will be useful as baby grows.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Travel System Stroller - Stix:

The car seat is easily removed and placed in both the stroller and in the car seat base in the car. The stroller also compacts down very easily and is great on walks (very smooth ride for baby and very manuverable). It is a great stroller (with car seat) and we (my husband and I) did test a few of them while at the store to make sure we got one that would easily go into the car. The only downside, and I think this is a downside for most of these strollers, is that the stroller when compacted down does take up a lot of space in the trunk (we have a VW GTI Hatchback). We can still fit some groceries in there but only a few bags. However, we do have the back seats so it's usually not a problem. The car seat is a bit heavy too, but again, most of them were (actually, all but one brand was that way). I'd recommend this specific stroller and the Chicco brand to anyone in the future. We love this travel system stroller!!!

My husband and I just received the stroller in the mail a few days ago. I'm not due until the end of October so we have not had a chance to use it yet. But the employee at babies r us was very helpful, the stroller arrived at our house within a few days (they didn't have the one we liked at the store), and all of the pieces seem to be there and nothing broken. So far, so good.

We LOVE our Chicco! Easy to use, fold, and maneuver around. In reference to the post about the click in base not fitting, the base isn't supposed to be used with the stroller, its for the car.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Travel System Stroller - Stix:

We love our Chicco Travel System because of its ease in transitioning from car to stroller, and even the jogger! The stroller maneuvers well and has cup storage for both baby and parent, folds with one handle lift, and is not too heavy to lift into trunk. The only negative thing I have to point out is the lack of storage space underneath the stroller. In comparison to other brands, it is very small and I can barely fit in the diaper bag.

GREAT for travel, HORRIBLE for city-living

          By KC2014

          from Undisclosed

Comments about Chicco Cortina Travel System Stroller - Stix:

After 2 weeks of use we have completely totaled this stroller! This is certainly NOT intended for everyday use, especially if you live in a city such as NYC. The wheels squeak and sometimes glide across the pavement, not to mention they get damaged easily. It does not take to the pavement well and is bulky so if you live in a walk-up this is very difficult to bring up narrow steps. Also be aware that the click-in carseat base does not fit in the basket of the stroller and the carseat itself does not fit in the new sliding door taxis properly.   The positive: It is so simple to use at the airport (even if it's just you and baby) and super easy to use if you're just going to the store.
