We Ordered this for our first child and the process was pretty simple. The crib arrived roughly a week after placing the order and assembly was pretty simple. All of the pieces arrived damage free with exception of 1 as it had a small scratch but nothing a wood pen can't fix.

Anyone looking for the conversion kits should go to the store to order them. This set uses an Asheville/New Castle kit to convert from the crib to the toddler bed. The Sales Rep actually called the crib manufacturer to find the proper item.

We ordered this crib and it arrived at the closest store to us pretty quickly. However, the box was so large that we had to rent a truck to get it home. Once we went through all of that, we opened the box to find a large chunk of missing wood from the front piece of the crib. I called the manufacturer and they said that they MIGHT get replacement parts in at the end of July. This does not make sense to me since they are still manufacturing new cribs in this style. Also, that happens to be after my baby is due. So now we are forced to order the crib on-line again, wait for it to arrive and rent another truck to bring back the damaged crib and get the new crib. I am sure if the crib had arrived in good condition that we would be happy overall, but if you have to return this crib for any reason be prepared for a hassle.

We ordered this crib from a Babies R Us store and it was shipped to the nearest location from their warehouse. It arrived within a week and we picked it up with no problem. The crib was in perfect condition. My husband put it together himself in about 30 minutes. He and I were both very pleased with the color of the wood finish and the quality of this piece. The crib is very sturdy. It was well worth the price. It is absolutely gorgeous and I DEFINITELY recommend this crib to anyone!! We are just waiting for our son to arrive now. :)
