        This product is terrible. My 3 yr old received it for Christmas and there is no volume control for one. Also, they don't work more than 5ft from each other and certainly not around corners! What is the point? They are about as useful as tin cans!

        My daughters received several Strawberry Shortcake items for Christmas. I was very excited for them to open and use their walkie talkies. After watching their excitement as I opened the package and inserted the batteries, you can imagine our extreme diappointment when they didn't work AT ALL. Like the other reviewer mentioned, you only hear a faint static buzz. That's it. I didn't expect top quality sound , however these should not be marketed as walkie talkies. I would market them as "pretend play" similar to a play phone.

            This product has no range as you could only hear each through the walkie talkie when you were practically right next to each other. Also there is no volume control and the preset level is extremely low...you hear more white noise than voices with this product. There is also one button on there that I am not sure of its function.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                Bought these for my daughters and the reception quality was so bad they were literally unusable. You couldn't hear anything other than a faint buzz/mumble over them. Unfortunately I had lost my receipt, so it was a complete waste of money and I couldn't even return them. We bought the Disney princess ones to replace and they work fine.

                Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
