I just wanted to make sure the grandmother who purchased this & the leg broke off in 2 days AND others know that mattel will replace them. (I've also had great service from TRU with broken toys. I believe it's around 90 days? for a replacement not due to negligence thru TRU?) I had this happen when Robecca 1st came out. I believe they said within a year, but it's been a couple months ago so I can't quite remember the exact time. So, HANG ON TO YOUR RECEIPTS!!! :) Their service was excellent & the doll arrived in just a few days. In my case, they did not even require the return of the broken doll. (In this instance, the doll was purchased thru an online retailer & they connected me to Mattel along w/verifying the purchase. However, the Mattel representative filled me in that they would be glad to replace any broken purchases within the time frame.)

The best part is how VIVIDLY this doll lights up! A ethereal, haunting blue! I would've killed to get dolls that did this when I was a kid, whether it was posable or NOT! =D I highly recommend the Ghouls Alive Frankie, also! When she lights up it is just as brilliant AND it really does show up like an x-ray, showing her skeleton thru the light! COOL!

The only negative thing I find about this wave is that the hairline looks really ODD on many of them. Never had that happen b4 in the MH line. We just picked thru them to find the best one. :)

FIRST, the legs and arms cannot bend because the lights run through them. It's ridiculous to think they should bend, so get passed it.

SECOND, this doll is very cool! I cannot afford to buy my daughter all of the dolls like a lot of parents, so we pick only the most interesting and fun ones to have. This doll is both and we are very happy with it!

THIRD, Monster High dolls are not made for small children. They come apart. It's part of their design, and with any toy with small parts, they aren't for small children. If you're going to give a doll with removable parts to a small child, don't complain when the doll breaks.

My grand daughter played with this doll two days and its leg broke off and could not be reattached, my grand daughter attached it with duct tape and pretends it is a cast, but I am disappointed that it broke so quickly.

I received this doll for Christmas and I just adore it. The doll is very beautiful and has great details. I also love that she lights up with sound effects as well. The only problem is that her legs and arms don't bend like the other monster high dolls but that was expected considering that she has led lights inside those parts so that she can light up. Now I have found that you can move her arms out a little bit and her legs can sort of be moved back and forth so you can pose her to look like she is floating though a wall of something (while she is on her stand). This doll would probably be best used for collectors and older children mainly because if you were to force her into some positions her parts will pop off but they pop right back on so it isn't that big of a deal if a little kid would want to play with her. But she makes great for creative play as well. I love her as well as the other ghouls alive dolls.

My daughter begged for this doll and we relented...unfortunately. While the doll is cute, it cannot be posed in any way. In addition, even when she's on her stand, her legs fall off. Waste of money and have to explain to a six year old that her much desired doll can't be played with. Put labels on the boxes please so children know that the dolls are immobile and can't be reposed.

bought it today, and my daughter got her out of the box. She lights up very well, and looks good. However, they have changed much. This one does have moveable elbows, but the wrists, legs and knees DO NOT BEND!!! The doll can not sit down. We called the 800 number, and they say that it is supposed to, and for me to force it to bend. I tried while on the phone, and the knee fell off. It is glued on, not rejoinable. I did finally get the legs to bend some at the top, but it pops right back down. There is no way to sit her. Took her back tonight. So very disappointed.

she is a pretty doll, her arms and legs light up and she plays a high pitch "spooky" sound. her draw back is that her arms do not bend. she's very pretty

Packaging does not describe that this doll is not bendable, or flexible in any way. This is a display doll . If your planning to buy for anyone under 8. Save your money my 6 y/o was disappointed.

We love it my daughters and I are huge fans/collectors. These ghouls alive are so amazing the spectra and frankie both light up very bright.I only wish they would talk but they are cool for what they do. I would recommend them to anyone who is a huge fan or loves collecting them.
