Great Toy, absurd price

I have an earlier release of this item and it is fantastic to the point i cannot call this a toy- it is a playset. When i got it, it seemed like it would never run out of new things to see and do. I mainly display this, but from time to time i put it on my bed and play with it. It is movie accurate, and then adds an extra vehicle to play with! The only thing lacking is sound FX from Return of the Jedi/Lando.
Being a new issue of this mold, i hope that they fixed the one issue i had with mine: the landing gear on my MF do not lock into place, so if i scrub them against the shelf, or wherever i put it, they tend to pop right off. it's not such a big deal because i'd rather put them back on than deal with a broken part. Is it worth the MSRP? Not sure. It has a lot of value, just not THAT. if you can get a good deal during a great sale, go for it. you won't be let down.

This is a very large toy with landing gear that is extremely poorly made. They fall out very easily which is really a shame as it's not a cheap toy. It's very heavy which makes it difficult for younger children to carry. It is a nice toy though with lights and sounds and I hope it lasts for many years.

    Best Falcon made so far. Very detailed all through out the ship. It even has removable landing gear for a proper display. It has many movie noises and an escape pod. The only con or down side is that it comes with 2 figures, "Han Solo" Millenium Falcon Pilot and regular "Chewbaca". You have to buy the "Millenium Falcon Pilot Chewbaca". The other gripe would be that I just wished they did the same thing as they did with the AT-ST Walker with the main gun, they have one you can load missles and fire with and another smaller gun to use for display purposes. They don't have that option here, you are stuck having the possibility of loosing 4 missles for the main turret guns another for the small front gun and one on the escape pod.

      The people who have commented that it is too expensive dont seem to understand value. The price is right considering the size and features. I especially like the guy who said the price was based on Disney-ownership (even though this was planned and released a full year before the Disney transaction). He also says you can get a vintage one MIB for the same price: Um, first off, the vintage one PALES in comparison to this one, and secondly, no...a vintage MIB Falcon goes for MUCH more than this. Dont even get me started on the lady who said she got this cheaper through a different seller...It's a TRU exclusive!

        I can't believe how amazing this thing is. It's quite easily the best star wars collectible in existence. It's massive, loaded with sounds, lights and features. Wait until it's on sale and snag it, you won't regret it. Save the box too, it's part of the collection experience.

          This is certainly not "a piece of junk" by any means! I knew it would be big, but not this amazing! All of the sound effects and dialouge really make this a one of a kind highlight for your Star Wars collection. It doesn't even compare to the now tiny previous Falcon from Hasbro and Kenner. It looks like the original, detailed prop from the film sitting in your living room! Being able to put 4 figures in the cockpit and have the boarding ramp come down with lights and sound effects really makes you wish that this smuggler's ship was real!

            I am an adult collector who missed out on the Star Wars Legacy Collection Millennium Falcon a few years back and have hesitated to spend $350+ on the secondary market. After calling Hasbro to confirm that this Vintage series Falcon is in fact identical (except for minor changes to the paint) to the Legacy Falcon, I purchased it with high expectations. I bought one for myself, to display on a shelf in my office, and was not disappointed; this is the ultimate Star Wars playset/vehicle of ALL TIME. The quality, detail, variety of functions and sheer authenticity of this toy make it a must-have. Last month I bought one as a Christmas gift for my 8-year-old nephew and it blew his mind; he absolutely loves it. This is more than a toy and is worth every dollar of its price. This might be the USS Flagg of this generation (for those of you who, like me, coveted the 7.5' long GI Joe aircraft carrier toy of the mid 1980's which originally retailed for $110 and now goes for thousands).

            From a technical standpoint, this is the absolute best Millennium Falcon. It looks fantastic, has many lights and sounds, and is very large. The detailing is fantastic, and we're likely to never get an updated version of the Falcon beyond this. Overall, this is a great Star Wars item for fans of all ages, personally though, wait for a sale/price drop.
