My son loves this guitar. Was easy to tune and keeps him entertained. Keeps his mind stimulated in a positive and creative way instead of watching tv or playing video games.

I love the design the rosewood neck makes for easy slides and bends. It stay's in tune great. The action is great for begginers who struggle to bear down on chords. Overall a great great product at a great price.

Comments about First Act 1001245 First Act 36 Inch Designer Acoustic Guitar - American Flag:

I first got this on a Black Friday sale. I brought it home, went to tighten the strings and tune it up to get it ready for Christmas morning when I noticed one of the strings wasn't wound tight enough on the tuning pegs so it wasn't catching when turning the tuning knobs. Since the strings were cut during initial stringing, there wasn't enough string to work with to restring it. In a feeble attempt to restring it, the string ended up snapping and stabbing me on the arm. Awesome. Took it back and exchanged it for another one and checked to make sure the new one had strings that were properly wound on the pegs. They were and I was excited. Brought it home, tightened the strings a bit and proceeded to tune it with a tuner (which was tested on a Yamaha acoustic to be accurate.) I tried and tried and the low E string kept coming up as F#. Eventually, I had a feeling the string was going to snap so I turned the guitar away from me. Good thing because as soon as I did, the low E string snapped. Yeah good thing it didn't happen while a kid was playing with it, because it's not like kids aren't curious lil buggers who would've fiddled with the tuning knobs. Could I have gone out and gotten new strings for it and restrung it? Sure, but this thing isn't worth the headache. By the time I get new strings and restring it, I could've gotten something of much better quality from a guitar shop without all this work and headache, especially if you were to factor in the amount of time and gas I've expended going back and forth to TRU to exchange & return this thing.
