Designed to look like a chalet, the Adventure Playsets Highlander Cedar Play Set features four levels to offer tons of play fun. The lower level has a picnic table and sandbox area. Climb up one platform and then the next to reach the slide level, then climb up one more level to the clubhouse with a covered porch. The 10' wave slide has high sides for safety and a wave in the middle for maximum slide fun. A ladder and a solid rock wall make climbing up easy or challenging, and two belt swings and a two-person glider offer plenty of swinging fun.

The Highlander offers tons of play fun for kids that starts with a four-level fort that looks like a chalet. The lower level has a picnic table and sand box area. Climb up one platform and then the next to the slide level. Climb up one more level to the clubhouse with a covered porch. The 10' wave slide has high sides for safety and a wave in the middle for maximum slide fun! A standard ladder and a solid rock wall make climbing up easy or challenging. There are two belt swings and a two-person glider for plenty of swinging fun. The Highlander even comes with a telescope (no magnification) and steering wheel! All the way around, the Highlander will provide years of great, healthy fun for the kids. Monkey Bars are NOT Included.

    Great swing set bought it when it was on sale. Took the whole weekend to build. A lot of work but well worth it. Instructions were great. Has three levels plenty of room for many kids.

      Wonderful play equipment . . .creative and awesome. Does take some time and patience to build. A few of the directions for assembly were vague but the pictures helped alot to clarify. All parts and attachments included.

      We did add some elements ourself . . . a floor to the bottom level under the picnic table across entire bottom. Used redwood 1x4s and 1x2s to build this addon. Also added 2 redwood flower boxes for gardening. We named our swing and club house - "ALOHA TOWERS" and made a sign to coordinate at the very top!

      Once it is put together this is a great product for our 3.5 and 2 year old. Putting it together is time consuming. Took my father & me (both engineers) 2-3 hours to go through boxes, inventory, & lay out parts. Then took total of about 22 hours to put it together. Hardest part was getting the tower level. Around step 25 the directions regarding what hardware to use didn't match the hardware that was left or even provided (kept referencing "hex bolts" but there were only a handful of hex bolts provided to begin with). Helps to have two drills - one to actually drill, the other to insert screws, bolts, etc. We did make two mistakes that required us to back-track, but didn't cost too much time.

      Great Set, takes a while to set up...have a swingset get together and get some help from your friends and neighbors! Be aware....online it shows 2 DIFFERENT photos of this swingset, one with monkey bars, one without! Faulty advertising to say the least if you thought the set comes with the monkey bars because it DOES NOT!! Just and FYI...

      We bought this for our two year old daughter and while it took over 24 hours to put together with 2 people working on it for a good chunk of that time, it was worth it. The instructions were clear and made it easy enough to follow. We sorted the wood by letter (i.e. all the Hs in one pile etc) but if you have the time or a helper who can do it it might make more sense to sort it by step. I did this for the hardware for the last half of the steps (into ziploc bags) one morning when it was too cold to go work outside and it definitely made it easier.

      We put a toddler swing on it and our daughter loves swinging. She also loves the steering wheel. She used to be more of a dare devil but is going through a cautious phase so while she can climb up to the top by herself she gets nervous about going down the ladder steps without help and will only go down the slide on my lap. We ordered the monkey bars separately and jury rigged it a bit so that they go off the back over the step ladder. The only missing hardware we had were two 4" bolts - a $3 fix at the hardware store. Everything went together pretty smoothly - just slowly having a 2 year old to watch at the same time. We made sure it was level and square. It's solid. Read a ton of reviews on another site before purchasing it here. If you go to Tumblr and search Highlander Swingset tags you'll find more pics and our account of putting it together. We do plan to weather seal it so it stay s looking pretty for a long time. I love the wooden roof on the fort. So much better than those canvas ones that fall apart after a few years.
