I was using disposable pads at first because I thought it would be easier to just toss them after use, but I found that the disposable pads (and I tried a few different kinds) were rather tough on my nipples, which were already sore. The pads would rub and make me even more sore. So I tried Bamboobies and they are so soft that they do not hurt/chafe, and it really isn't hard to toss them into the wash with the rest of the laundry (since you're already doing plenty of baby laundry anyway). I don't leak a lot, so I can't say whether or not they hold up to a lot of moisture, but I've even worn them to go jogging and they hold up to all that sweat! I've also read other reviews that say the overnight pads are helpful when you start weaning, which I haven't done yet, but it's nice that this set comes with one pair of overnight ones so that way I will have them to try out for later. I initially bought just the pack that comes with 2 pairs of the ultra thin regular pads, and then came back to buy this set of 4 pairs because they are wonderful! I also use the Boobease nipple cream, which is great too.

These are super soft and a better alternative to disposable pads. The cute design makes them fun. Very soft.

I love the bamboobies. First of all, they are made in the United States and they are made out of organic cotton and bamboo. Not only are you saving the earth from tons of disposable breast pads, but overtime you will save money by using these. They are super soft! Very absorbant! Well made. I'm so glad I found these. Try them out, you will like them too!

Super soft and comfortable to wear. I have sensitive skin and cannot wear a lot of materials without getting itchy. I had no problems with these. They fit perfectly in all of my bras.

I love the overnight Bamboobies for the beginning days when the milk is just coming in. They held up really well with absorbing for the day. I only wish I had bought a few pairs of the overnights for that period so I would have a pair to use while washing the others.

Both styles of the Bamboobies are nice and soft and if you're wearing the regular heart pair, you can't even tell you have them on. The overnights are a bit thicker and you can see the shape through a standard t-shirt. Not a problem for me since I really didn't go anywhere and now use them only at night.

I love that I am saving money and not throwing away pads every day. A few pairs of each size will get me through our breastfeeding relationship and I don't have to keep buying nursing pads all the time.

My Only Dislike

The only thing I can say I don't like about the Bamboobies (and it's mostly user error) is the shape of the regular pads that I received. Maybe it's because I am a lot bigger chested, but there have been a couple of times that I have leaked out the side because my nipple was too close to one of the edges and it soaked the side out.

I am very pleased with them other than that and just make sure that I get my nipple right in the middle of the heart shaped pad to prevent leaking.

I do recommend getting a few pairs of each to have plenty for washing.

Bamboobies are awesome! Washable, comfy, soft, super absorbent, and don't show under your clothes! Also love the nighttime ones—only reusable pad that I didn't leak through in those early months. Both the day and night pads are way more comfortable and breathable than disposable.

My husband just bought me these after trying disposables with our first. Our second is due in June, so I haven't gotten to test them while actually breastfeeding, but I wet them with water to check for absorbancy, and I think it will be more than sufficient for me. I love the velour, so soft and comfortable. I am a DD and they seem to fit me just fine. I will definitely be purchasing another set.

Bamboobies are wonderful! I was using disposable nursing pads and decided it would be more cost effective to switch to reusable. Bamboobies seemed to pop up with great reviews- they are perfect! I have never leaked through them and they are easy to wash. They don't feel cold and clammy when they are wet, and best of all, they are SOOOO soft on sore nipples. So, I actually bought some more!
