The Power-Wheels Ford F-150 is a 2 seat, 12v BPRO with storage bed and working tailgate, cup holders, a pretend microphone, a bench seat with hook and loop belts, and dash storage. The vehicle drives 2.5 and 5mph forward and 2.5 mph in reverse. The F-150 maintains the current trend of "Keeping it Real" with accents and details jsut like the actual F150 from Ford. It is also equipped with the Monster Traction tire package. This version is a cost improved one from previous models. 3L Packaging/Instructions.

Monster Traction is a Joke

I bought this model with the monster traction hoping that it would actually operate as advertised: "Equipped with Power Wheels exclusive Monster Traction™ drive system for superior performance in the toughest backyard driving conditions. Ruts, wet grass, mud and more…Monster Traction™ powers through." We live in a rural area with no paved surfaces and the regular power wheels just won't drive off-road. When I opened the box on this, the first thing I noticed was that the tires are plastic. I thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt, so I assembled and had my neighbor's kid test drive it. Unfortunately, the monster traction drives no better than the models without it. In order to get it to go forward on dry grass, I had to stand behind and constantly give it a push. The tires just spin, they don't grip. If Fisher Price wants to provide a true "off-road, rugged" model, they should have their engineers go back to the design and add rubber tires and suspension - otherwise its just a more expensive version of the same product that does well on paved surfaces only. I am very disappointed in this purchase.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

HAPPY GRANDFATHER

I brought this truck for my grandson on 3/10/12. he is 3yr's old and to see the joy on his face was worth every penny. with the F-150 SVT Raptor he was able to ride on the grass, up hills and on the gravel. In short he was able to go where ever I went. So easey to assemble we up and haveing fun is less that 30min. after we open the box. just dont turn the radio up to loud. he wont be able to hear you tell him to stop. LOL

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
