We got this product yesterday and were able to put it together in less than 30 minutes! What took the longest was finding the directions (which were attached to the mattress support). While we have yet to use it for its intended purpose, it is sturdy and looks great in the nursery. We actually got this item in Espresso (not cherry) but I couldn't find the Espresso item listed on the website. I love the color because I can see it being something our child can use for a long time.

Bought this after our first crib became a nightmare since it was so high to put my daughter in once I got pregnant again. The height on this is amazing for my back and it is sturdy and well built. My daughter is now 18 months old and still cannot climb out of it, but is close to the floor in case she does. My husband had no problems putting it together in under an hour as well.

My only negative comment is that within the first week of owning it, the finish had completely been chipped away in spots on the front and sides from either my daughters fingernails or teeth. It's very noticeable as well since I purchased it in espresso.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
