This product broke within 3 months, so I contacted customer service (Impecca) and they sent a brand new one out, I didn't even send in all of the parts and they still sent a new one out. It has a year warranty that I didn't pay anything extra for, I just had to send in the receipt and a description of the problem. Very happy.

Bad speakers/display, no battery

This product was cheap, so I figured I would try it after the one in my car stopped working. First of all, you have to plug it into the wall or a vehicle. There is no battery backup, so every time you stop the car, you have to turn it back on and navigate to where you were in the movie again. Also, the car power adapter is really short, so if you want it to reach into the back seat, good luck.

Quality:

I got one of these and the left speaker on the companion screen didn't work (just static). They sent me another and it has the same issue.

The picture quality is horrendous. You can't even read the FBI warning text at the beginning it is so pixelated.

You have to remove the player from the seat mount to change the movie as well.

I really wanted to like this, but it's going back again.
