I bought this for my 4yr old daughter, she loves it, yet her legs are just a little too long for it. My 23mo. old daughter, loves it better than the Little Tikes Turtle racer, because it's more suitable for her size, so they've actually switched gifts. It's incredibly smooth and fast, so you have to be careful with the little ones. The 360 wheels work very well and do not scratch the wood floors, if you have them indoors. The sounds are great fun, yet honestly my children don't ever use it, so if the lights & sounds is more expensive than the racer without, I'd say if you are unable to afford the price difference, then just go with the one with out sounds and lights. If your child does end up pressing the button regularly than the sounds are cute & fun! Light not a big thrill.Overall..I love it and so do the kids!!!Sup
