I'm enjoying this new space theme from LEGO, and the best set so far is the Vermin Vaporizer. Reminiscent of both Starship Troopers and Aliens, this sturdy, well-built land vehicle packs a lot of fun features including a turret on the back that lifts off to become a small robot mech, a lab in the back that holds the included alien cocoon, and a front area that opens up to reveal a small escape buggy.

It's a clever build, not too difficult or fragile, and once it's together the Vaporizer is very sturdy and well-built, ready for play and also a good base for more space building.

I'd definitely pair this set with the Star Slicer set, which is the largest Alien vehicle set out in this theme so far (kind of a big preying mantis vehicle), as the included alien vehicle is very small, though it's nice that it was included.

I don't buy or build every LEGO set out there, and this was a bit more expensive than I'd like, but it's a fun, solid build and should be the start of a lot of fun for the future.
