My son is now six months old and I've been through a couple of these--mostly because I don't like to use brushes/sponges for very long. I've never had a problem with it breaking. It came apart during use once, but once you know that it's a problem, you figure out which way to spin the brush in the bottle so as not to loosen the screw-in bottom. Not a big deal considering how well it cleans. The bristles work wonders and the spongy tip seems to hold up quite well. I love that the tiny brushes inside can be swapped out when they wear out and the sturdy handle gives you something to hold on to, rather than just using the Dr. Brown's pipe-cleaner brushes which I find super-useful, but they get stuck sometimes and are hard to pull out without the handle to grip onto. Also, the "Deluxe" version is totally worth the extra $2 over the conventional Dr. Brown's bottle brush. I bought the other and was very disappointed in its performance as compared to this one.

**I hadn't realized that the design of the base was for cleaning out the nipples until I read a different review and product description just now. I thought it was an odd shape. :) I'm super-excited to try that out!**

I am an avid Dr. Brown's fan, however this brush is not the same quality I have come to expect of Dr. Brown's products. The bottle brush screws together in the middle of the handle and the pieces come apart during use. This is a constant issue and I have to reattach the pieces every time I use it.

Comments about Dr. Browns Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Deluxe Bottle Brush:

I purchased this brush online as I ended up using the 4oz Dr. Brown's bottles and the advent cleaning brush. Wanted something that would clean bottle with less effort. This seemed to be a good match. I have not been able to use the brish because, well, it doesn't fit in the 4oz bottles! Thanks, BRU description, for failing to mention the size. On a hunt, once again!

Comments about Dr. Browns Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Deluxe Bottle Brush:

I am not a fan of this brush! The suction cup base doesn't stay suctioned and the brush does not stand upright in the base. The bristles are too stiff so when I pull the brush out of the bottle soap and water fling everywhere. There is a mini brush inside the handle if you unscrew it, which I think is neat, but I can't seem to get the mini brush out. It pulls out 99% of the way then it's just stuck. Luckily it came with an extra mini brush.

yes, it's very easy to loosen into half, but with a little super glue does the trick. I don't use the little brush anyways. But love the soft bristles and the sponge head.

I started using this brush about a week after my baby was born to clean one Dr. Brown's bottle, once a day. We were having to give him a vitamin with expressed breast milk. The sponge on the top of the brush began to fall apart after several weeks and by the time my baby was two months old had disintegrated so much that it completely fell off of the brush, making the brush useless as I could not clean the bottom inside the bottle any longer. Also, the nipple cleaner at the bottom of the brush was constantly unscrewing while I was cleaning with the sponge end which was very annoying.

I really like this brush, the way it feels, the amount of bristles, and how it suctions to the sink. The mini brush is inside the bottle brush...which is the problem with this whole brush. The brush screws together in the middle, this is where the mini brush is...which is first off a horrible location for the mini brush and creates a point of weakness in the bottle brush. I don't use the mini brush inside the bottle brush, I have an extra mini brush that I use. EVERY TIME I clean a bottle the brush breaks in half where it screws together. Another problem is that when you do screw the brush back together it just continues to turn, there is never a point where the brush gets tight enough and stops. I would give this brush 5 stars if it didn't screw together in the middle and was just one piece. Don't waste your money.

I have twins and I go through many bottles daily and I'm constantly cleaning my Dr. Brown Bottles. I thought this brush would be more convenient but it was a complete bust. If I could rate this product with no stars I would.

My son is 2 months old now and we used the bottle brush since he was born. The PROs- Looks great, has useful mini brush attached to clean smaller crevices and nipple cleaner on bottom. CONs- brush broke in half. My brush probably brook about a month ago. I have considered ordering another one as 6 dollars is a small price to pay for a bottle brush that is designed for the cleaning of the Dr. Brown bottles! (Even if you may have to buy a new one every month)

This is the best brush I have bought. I have been through so many different and expensive kinds of bottle brushes. They all wear out within two weeks. This one...it's been a month and it still looks new. The only draw back is that if you are a Dr. Brown bottler user it won't fit into the vents, so I just use a seperate smaller brush. I am willing to over look it. Give this brush a chance.
