My child is 4 yrs old. She has a LEGO mad older brother and so she wanted to start getting Lego sets too. These little sets are perfect for beginning with the small sets, reading and following the directions, etc. She was able to assemble this Tree House in about 30 minutes, with minimal help from us parents. She is still working on dexterity with some of the tiny and odd shaped pieces on occasion, but for the most part she has no problems! Highly recommended for younger kids with a shorter attention span, and my daughter loves that it's a GIRL line! Plus she loves animals and is already telling me she wants to be a veterinarian or marine biologist when she grows up so she gravitates toward the sets with animals included! Very fun!!
