We're really looking forward to using this carseat with our little one. My husband figured out & tested installation in just 5 minutes for both of our cars. Easy to adjust & sits well in cars. Latch system is great. Material is nice & I live the color. Also fits nicely with the Chicco snap fit stroller. Looks like it will be a good, easy-to-use system. Rated super high on Consumer Reports too.

We bought this unit along with the matching stroller about 9 months ago for our son. It has been pretty user-friendly for us first-time parents. We have transfered the carseat several times from one vehicle to another without hardly any effort at all. The balance level gave us confidence to know that we had positioned the seat correctly, and I loved the ease of knowing we could use the safety clips or strap the base on with a seat belt. It clips in fairly easily with the base and matching stroller. One con we had with this unit is that our almost 9 month old son has already outgrown it. The last couple months of use, he has been squished into the seat, and I could tell he was uncomfortable riding in it. He isn't a huge baby, but he does have broad shoulders, so maybe a smaller infant would be able to use this unit for longer. Overall, we really like the carseat and we plan to retire this unit for a couple months until our daughter in born in May.

My husband and I have been looking for car seats for months now. We went to Babies R Us last night and found the Chicco KeyFIt 30 in the Elm color. It is really a fantastic (gender neutral) and functional car seat with lots of padding. The fabric is of good quality as well. The only reason I gave this car seat four stars was becuase the sun shade doesn't fit easily behind the back of the seat. It can be removed all together, but is difficult to take off. It also makes it hard to lock the handle into the back position when it is on.
I love that the bottom of the base adjusts so it fits perfectly in your car. It's not too big and it's easy to install in the car. I have found that the car seat easliy attached and detaches from the base. The base even has a little storage compartment in the front. Totally worth the money!! I do love this seat, and I can't wait for my son to arrive so we can use it! The matching stroller which is compatable with this car seat is on my registry too!!

I first purchased the Chicco Key fit 30 stroller in 2010 when I was expecting my first son. I did alot of researching, read countless reviews till I finally deciding on the Chicco. I could not have been happier! This carseat is super easy to install, has high safety ratings, is super easy to clean, and most importantly it's safe and snug for your precious little one. One thing I have noticed compared to other brands is how nice it is the straps can be adjusted right from the front rather than having to flip it over to losen or tighten them from the back. I could always make sure they were fitting my son perfectly every single time I put him in it. I am now pregnant with our second child and will be purchasing another Keyfit as soon as we know the gender. This is an awesome product and well worth the money. It is somewhat heavy especially once your child starts growing but the quality is defintely a plus and you know your child is safe in this seat.

I've used this product with both of my children. I'd recommend it to anyone. It's comfortable, easy to clean and maintain, and VERY SAFE. I had an accident with a shopping cart. The carrier fell onto the cement upside-down with my baby inside. There was a tiny scratch on the carrier and not a single scratch, bump, or bruise on my baby. I'll stand by this brand for life.
