Comments about NECA 1001682 Portal ASHPD Customizable Device Kit:

I gotta say, for $50 less than the original, this replica is awesome, especially for Portal fans! The lights are super bright and the sound is pretty loud. The weight is really nice when you're supporting it with both hands, but gets heavy quick if you try holding it with one hand. I also found the 3 external "wires" are also flexible to your liking. I thought they were hard plastic, but I was able to shape them how I like, so they're not in the way, mainly the one on the left.

Only 2 issues I have is the black parts seem to have factory residue with finger prints, which I was able to clean off with a damp towel, and the outer white shell is covered in several scratches, which is not very noticeable until you see them. I'm still giving the Aperature Science Hand Held Portal Device custom kit 5 stars because for $50 less than the other 3 versions, you get all 3 versions!
