Wonderful product, I set it by the television so I can clearly see what she's doing while watching some shows. I received this as a gift unexpectedly and appreciate it. However, when I need to do laundry or do some work... I had to pay EXTRA to get a rechargeable battery that's meant for THIS monitor!!! The store did not carry the kind of battery for it and I had to order it online (plus shipping).

In my opinion, batteries SHOULD be included with the product.

I agree with "Terrible Audio". We could not hear our baby at all. Video is not in color as advertised regardless of lighting and so loud I couldn't sleep .The white noise is unacceptable and we will return this as soon as possible!

This has been a wonderful purchase so far. At the moment, it is only used in the evenings since the baby is sleeping in the bedroom with us. I read the reviews before I purchased it, and decided to go ahead and order the battery to go along with it. I love being able to see my baby sleeping, rather than just rely on sounds to know he is okay. My husband thought a video monitor was a waste of money, but since the price of this one was similar to the price of a audio monitor, I was able to get it. He enjoys the monitor just as much as I do, now that the baby is here. The only thing I don't like about the monitor is that if it's not hooked up to the power source, the screen goes black after a certain period of time. I'm sure that is so it won't waste battery life, and by pushing the button on the top of the screen it comes back on. Its not a deal breaker, though. I would have still purchased it knowing that.

HORRIBLE. No BATTERY. Can't use it wirelessly. couldnt find battery anywhere, called customer service they told me i could go to my local drug store?... I dont think they would have that battery... Im about to pop and the last thing i want to do is run around town and find a battery and def. don't want to spend the extra money on one... Ill be returing it and purchasing one that comes with a battery!

We purchased this to keep an eye on our grandchildren when they sleep over. I works OK except for the white noise you constantly hear. It took a while to figure out its use since it did not come with any instructions, but we finally figured it out. Biggest problem is that it doesn't have a rechargeable battery and you can't find one.

I contacted the manufacturer and they tell me it's on the BabysRUs website. However it is not and the customer service people can't find it.

I am considering returning it because who wants to be straddled to an outlet if you want to use it.

We purchased this product in the store and was never told that it needed a battery that did not come included. The battery is not sold in the store and cannot be found anywhere else. When we called customer service, they gave us a skew # for the battery needed and we finally found it online on the babies r us website. Having the skew # is the only way to locate it online, it cannot be searched and found by name or anything else. To make matters worse, the battery was an extra $20 plus you are forced to pay shipping on it as well since it is not offered in the store. We returned the product and purchased a different one elsewhere.

Perfect picture, night vision, zoom. I love it, just doesn't come with the monitor's battery, although I heard if you contact the manufacture they will provide you with a free one. im on it.

I bought this monitor on sale in the store, got home and found out the monitor needs a rechargable battery pack-- which is only sold at Babies R Us. Called the store, they don't have it-- called Customer Service and they couldn't find it online or in any store!! Returning tomorrow for my money back, after spending too much time researching how to make this work!

I like the product, the picture is clear and the monitor is large enough to see. I like that the screen is soft and not so shinny that glare hurts my eyes. You can get a rechargeable battery free of charge if you call Baby's Journey, their information comes in the monitor box. Granted, it took me forever to find it and lots of calls to Babies R Us BUT... I got it. :)

Just purchased product and when I got home I realized that the battery is not included for the monitor. Went back to Babys R Us and asked employee, she said they do not sell the battery. Why would you sell a product and not have battery for sale as well? I called babys r us help desk and the lady told me to take a rechargeable battery to the battery store and ask them to make one to fit the monitor. Great solution!!! I will be returning ASAP
