Our daughter is 2 months old. We use this product when we put her down for naps during the day and are in the other room washing dishes doing light cleaning or even step away to use the restroom. The clarity is great. You have a clear image of your child. If it is dark the camera is infrared so you are still able to see if your child opens her eyes. So far the only complaint I have is the monitor tends to time out. I don't if there's a way to prevent it to do so without me having to click on it to view my child again would be great. Also being a parent can be very expensive I would take advantage of the camera sales babies r us has from time to time. It helps save a lot of money.

I am coming from a Summer I* monitor we had for 2.5 years, so that is my comparison. The tilt and turn modes on this one are very nice. But, I am not very happy with the picture quality on this Motorola. The *SI* model had a much sharper HQ-like picture. This unit's picture is not as crisp. Also even worse, the image is jerky in slow motion, looks like 10 fps as opposed to the *SI* model which was real time perfect. I might end up returning this one, as picture quality and speed is a top priority for me when buying a monitor. I know the *SI* models have some poor reviews too, but I've seen it work well first hand. I couldn't quite drop it to 3 star, but not a 5 star for sure.

We use this product for our infant's nursery. So far it is great. We are able to move the camera around from our bedroom to see our little one. Sound quality is great too. We like the fact that the screen sleeps and goes on every time there is motion sensed or when we need to put the screen on, otherwise the monitor is pretty bright. So far we are very happy with this product. We didn't feel that the more expensive model that had the temperature was necessary.

I love the picture on this model! The night vision is so clear. There's not really anything I don't like about this monitor; it pans the room pretty wide, it does zoom in, and it's a two way speaker. I wasn't looking for all the bells and whistles, like the temperature reading and lullabys. I have enough music I prefer to play and the temperature is never accurate from room to room (I live with an HVAC tech..LOL) So, if I had to change anything it would be the menu. It's not that convienant to access. Without reading the instructions, I couldn't find the zoom, duh! But after I figured out how to access the menu, it was fine. That said, I would like to have a button for volume, zoom, AND an option to keep th screen ON when not plugged in, seperate from the menu. The screen is smaller than some, but I didn't find that an issue. I would definately recommend this to a new parent; you will use this for more than just the baby years!! Oh, and did I mention the great option to add more cameras? Great to have when you have more than one child!!

We love this monitor and would like to add an additional camera for the MBP41 model but have not had any luck in locating one. Is there anyone that owns this model experiencing the same problem?

We are currently using the product for my daughter who is converting to a toddler bed so we can keep tabs on her while shes settling down for the night. The pan/tilt option is amazing! One thing we are having an issue with is we are expecting our 2nd child and we can not find the MBP41 camera sold seperatly although this parent unit can have up to 3 monitors attached to it. We are trying to find the 2nd camera for the nursery.

My husband and I LOVE this monitor! I have a 19 month old daughter and am due with my 2nd daughter this week. We bought this monitor over two months ago when we put our 19 month old in a toddler bed. We are able to move the camera around to see where out daughter is at night when she gets out of bed and the picture is soo clear that we can see everything that she is doing. It will be great for when the newborn is in the room with her as we will be able to move the camera back and forth from the bed to the crib without going into the room. There is nothing that we do not like about the monitor!

Great quality! After a lot of research, we decided to go with this video monitor and we couldn't be happier! Great video quality both during the day and at night with night vision. The sound quality is excellent as well. The pan/tilt/zoom features and price are really what sold us on this one over the other Motorola video monitors.
