Wow! Almost every aspect of this set is great! The figures are king! The set is crammed with features! The only bad thing about this - spoiler alert - is that it is not from the movie :( The minifigures: - Iron Man (Mark 42): Looks great with all the gold, scary face and smirk face - War Machine: Awesome detail, nice shoulder gun, normal and angry face - Aldrich Killian: Glow-in-the-dark face, with normal and extremis face The build: Easy, with a few technic pieces in the back. Some bright colors in the build, the final design shows more black, yellow and emerald green. Some stickers are also included. The design: Wow, the boat looks really cool when it's done: It's VERY long and sleek, and has a very streamlined design. In the back, there are two bulky pieces that are supposed to represent the jets. The color scheme is not the best, but it fits together with the other Mandarin vehicles. Beneath are also blue "slide shoe" pieces (smooth pieces) that gives a cool water effect. The buoy also looks nice and authentic, and is a nice complimentary piece to give the feeling of a harbor or sea. The features: There are many features in this set considering the size. The bouy has an exploding function that works decent. The boat has a lot of room in the canopy, and there are some spots to put Killians gun at. In the front there's a secret room under the hood if you remove it. Inside there's even more space to put things + a dynamite. The coolest function is in the back: two flick missiles that are partly hidden beneath the canopy. And these don't fire like your average missiles. No, they are fired when you push on two separate levers. When you push one, the respective missile come out. And the missiles go really far! Great feature. Summary: Pros: - Fantastic figs, War Machine being the best - Cool design - Many cool features - Loads of space in the boat Cons: - Scene not in the movie :( - Aldrich Killian should have had glow-in-the-dark only on the extremis part of the face, as the white color looks weird with his skin-colored hands. All in all, fantastic set. If you liked the movie, this is probably one of the best sets to get. I don't care if it's not in the movie, you still get great figs and you can just pretend the boat is part of the movie when you play. For other fans, the boat is great and worth getting if you want a cool medium-sized set. TheMagneth out!

      Perfect Gift!

      By Logansmom

Comments about LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man Seaport Battle (76006):

This was actually a birthday gift to my son from a classmate. He LOVES anything "Superhero" and he loves Legos so of course this was a huge hit. He built the set with 2 friends and enjoys playing with it as is, as well as using the pieces to build other things (earns "mom points" for encouraging creativity and imagination, not to mention he isn't plopped in front of a TV!!) He has since saved his own money and bought other sets, and his Christmas list is 75% lego items so I would say this item was the perfect (mom approved) gift! ;)

      Extremis Sea Port Battle

      By LegoDino8203

Comments about LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man Seaport Battle (76006):

Another great set. Minifigures first up to bat. Aldrich Killian is a some dude in a suit. His printing is good. His head is glow in the dark. Iron man is sporting his MK 42 armour that is great. I love the printing. War Machine is another great figure, yet with his inclusion this set does not match the film ( War machine wasnt in the movie Iron Patriot was, plus, there is no boat fight ). WM printing is great, and his cannon is a nice piece. The boat is a cool build. I didnt enjoy building it ( probably on the count of me building the Manbat attack ). The boat pretty large. The whole front can be removed to reveal a sitting area. The back has 2 flick missiles. Great value overall.

This is a great set if you are into iron man, the thing that drives this set are the minifigures not so much the actual set.

Here we are, on the roof.

Comments about LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man Seaport Battle (76006):

So, as we all know, this set has nothing to do with the movie except for the figures. As disappointing as this can be, and as much as I would have loved for them to have forgotten this set and the Mandarin truck and just made a set with the Roxxon boat docks and a lot of Iron Man suits, this still has some value to it. MANDARIN BOAT: The boat itself is a good sized speedboat armed with flick-fire missiles and made with the colors of dark green and black to give it the Ten Rings look. Do I even have to mention the angering use of stickers to decorate both this boat and the buoy? The boat has room for Kilian to sit and it's front side can come off to reveal space to put Kilian's gun and some dynamite, which can blow up the buoy. The buoy sits on some blue water pieces and is made up of red and gray bricks. It's main feature is exploding, therefore the dynamite. MINIFIGURES: IRON MAN- This is the Mark 42 armor, which also comes in the Malibu Mansion. It has fantastic and accurate printing, though if the suit had had gold arms and red hands instead of the opposite, I just feel as if it would have had a better movie effect. The suit has the standard blue pieces to make it fly, and the helmet (which is NOT that bulky, everybody) and Tony Stark's head underneath. This new head comes in all the Iron Man 3 sets, and has a cocky grin and a scared face. Personally, I like the Avengers head better, but this gives us some variety. A great minifigure that is a must-have to your Hall of Armor. WAR MACHINE- The highlight of the set. Despite the fact that we never got an Iron Patriot (hence the boat dock battle idea, LEGO. Could have killed two birds with one stone.), and this is very disappointing, War Machine is an awesome, exclusive minfigure in a cheap set that ultimately makes up for all the faults if you let it. The torso and legs are printed with very good detailing from Iron Man 2, and the silver and gray helmet covers Rhodey's face, which is serious or angry. War Machine has red instead of blue flying pieces which fits more to that lightsaber coloring effect from the movies. He has a shoulder piece that has clipped onto it a lightsaber handle for a mini gun. A missile piece would have worked better, since the gun needs some length, but that is easily fixable. War Machine's dark grey pieces should have been black to make it look right, but that's a minor flaw. War Machine is awesome! ALDRICH KILLIAN- Killian is wearing a tan suit and a dark blue shirt under it, which he does wear in the movie. His hair piece is not well chosen, but as long as you're an experienced collector with lots of extra stuff lying around in a bucket, it's no biggy. His face presents the same problem that the Extremis Soldier did: the glow in the dark ability. We all know that the red veins of Extremis are what glows, not the whiteness of their head. The thought is appreciated, but some accuracy would have worked well. However, since the Mandarin is not the Mandarin, this is a must-have villain. OVERALL: The set itself is worth it only for War Machine, since the Malibu Mansion is a much better deal. Killian is needed as well, but if a Boat Docks Battle set with all the figures from these two sets (plus Iron Patriot) I would have paid up to 40-50 bucks, depending on the size. Nice try, LEGO.

Comments about LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man Seaport Battle (76006):

It's a good set to look at, but i'm surprisingly disappointed by the play features, although i do give it credit for the figures that come with it. pros: -the figures: The figures are printed well and have good accessories. -the boat: the boat has a nice, sleek design, along with space for 2 or 3 figures in the operating deck -the flick missiles: good to see lego trying a different approach with the missile firing mechanic. -the price: yeah, for 19.99 for 198 (or so) pieces and 3 mini-figures, makes this set a must buy. cons: -the features: all of the play features are cliched and don't really fit with the set. -the accuracy: This set is not at all accurate to the film. There was no speedboat, and Rhody was iron patriot. -the glow in the dark head: i just don't like the way it feels. overall, it's a good set, not a great one, but a good one. a kid is sure to get a few good hours of playtime with this set alone. The build was also quick and easy.

        Entertaining and straightforward

        By Asfriedhr

        from Woodbridge

Comments about LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man Seaport Battle (76006):

As with much of the Iron Man 3 line (just the three sets within the larger Marvel Superheroes line), this set bears little resemblance to the film, but film accuracy isn't what's most important. Is this set engaging? Is it fun? And I think so - yes! Where the Lord of the Rings and Star Wars lines are focused more on reproducing specific scenes and environments, the Superhero lines and the new Disney Princess line are more about giving a child a new venue to play with these characters they love. The appeal, then, of this set is in the characters it offers - adding Aldrich Killian to the baddies table and (pause for effect) Colonel James Rhodes aka Iron Patriot (aka War Machine, who, as we all know, ROX) to the line-up of Marvel superheroes Lego's made builds for - and the new 'playground' it gives in the speedboat. There are three minifigures in this set: Killian, Tony (in Iron Man Mark 42 Armor), and Rhodey (as War Machine), and each has a double-sided head, with two faces to choose from when putting the figures together. Killian looks - and I'm not sure how else to put this - pretty zombie-ish, like the other Extremis minifigs in the line, which for me is a little jarring, but really, only a little. Like the other armor-suited minifigs, Tony and Rhodey both have flip-up masks so you can have their faces showing, but do be careful as it doesn't take a whole lot of pressure to accidentally flick that mask piece right off the helmet and my set at least did not come with spare masks. It did, however, come with two sets of spare pieces for Rhodey's shoulder cannon, which consists of two very small pieces similarly easy to knock off if you aren't careful. Building the speedboat is straightforward with few complications, so it shouldn't be too hard for a small child with patience. Unlike some other sets, there aren't very many teeny-tiny pieces at work here so you don't have to worry over much about trying not to lose them, haha. There are a couple of stickers here, so don't lose those when you're putting it all together! As for interactivity, there isn't a whole lot of it: the buoy has a paddle you can press down to 'blast' the bomb (mostly by ejecting it a foot across the room), and the two missiles in the speedboat can be fired by depressing switches at the back. But it does provide a new environment for a kid to play with Iron Man and War Machine, and it can be combined easily with the other Iron Man 3 sets for play. If you or a child (or someone else!) in your life is interested in the Marvel Superheroes line, maybe give this set a look! At $20 it's one of the cheaper sets (though not the cheapest even in the Iron Man 3 sub-line), and if you aren't a stickler for movie accuracy, it's a fun little set to build. :)

This is a cool set. Not 100% accurate compared to the movie but still cool. The minifigs are awesome. The boat is pretty good. Not much play experience but most legos if they're not lego city usually they don't have that much play experience. Overall a nice set!
