I bought this for my 6 month old i blew it up and it worked just fine. There was no way that she could injure her head on the water spout. The bad thing is, you have to cut a hole in it yourself if you want to leave it on and be able to use the shower knob. I tried to cut a hole and the scissors accidentally cut into the part that hold air making it completely useless. I was so bummed because, its adorable
