First day froze once, second day froze twice, third day told us it needed a factory reset. Then stopped working completely. JUNK! My son saved his own money for this. He is very disappointed! If I could give it 0 stars, I would!

its ok but not the best. its nice and all but i had to keep sending it back to get a new one. it kept breakin when my child was playing on it and did nothing to break or dammage it.it is kid friendly and has great features. if you are willing and keep sending it back and spend money go for it

My daughter received this Tablet for her birthday on March 13, 2013. She used the Tabeo twice and the screen froze and never worked again. I attempted to return it to Toys R Us however it was out of stock everywhere. I was told by one representative that there was a RECALL and the stores should have been stocked with WORKING Tabeo's as of Christmas 2012. I was able to have the manufacturer honor the warranty after the Toys R US warranty expired. Thank God. I asked if there were any accessories that could be sent to my daughter for the extreme inconvenience of this defected item and I was told NO! As a business owner and service provider, I understand the importance of customer service and I decided to come here and share with anyone who is considering this purchase. With so many other options on the market, you would think a company would try to at least provide the best customer service when a product doesn't compare to others on the market. Hopefully someone from their corporate office will see this post and consider working on better customer satisfaction policies.

This is a fun & educational product for my 3 year old. It is not a high quality construction though. Ex: you would think the charging port would be reinforced with a strong bracket. It is not. It has 3 solder points & that's all. Everytime you replace the tablet you have to re-buy the warranty 19.99. & screen protectors if you use them. That stuff is not covered under the warranty. The tablet must be mailed in if using the warranty & there is a wait period till you get your money to go buy a new tablet. This was a gift to him or he would not have it. The age range for games also seems like it should be much younger than they list. These games are easy for my 3 year old. Hope this helps.

Bought two for my 6 and 7 year old and the one screen cracked inside while playing a game and the other one can not be used because the charger inside became loose and will not charge.

technical support has been really good at shipping me refurbished tabeo's every time I have an issue. I'm watiign on the 4th one to be shipped ot us now.
The common problem is bad charging connection. Cause the tabeo to over heat.

I bought the tabeo after reading many bad reviews and almost regretted my decision. I went to the store and talked to a very well informed sales associate. I discussed my concerns about the bad reviews and he informed me that there was a issue with the first release but all the bugs had been worked out. So I bought it since it was on sale and in the price range I was looking for. I brought it home a couple days ago and have been messing with it before I give it to my daughter for her birthday. I wanted to make sure it really would work. I was getting very frustrated and beginning to think I made a bad purchase so in a last attempt I went online and did the online chat with tech support. I then found out that I could delete a big install file on the tabeo and free up lots of memory. I also found out you can install amazon app store app on the tablet so it opens up lots more options for apps. The only thing I haven't been able to do is download the netflix app and I think that it has to do with netflix's compatibility not the tabeo. SO as of right now I am very pleased and ready to give it to my daughter. So I advise anyone who has this and has issue to talk to tech support before giving up.

We bought this for a granddaughter's 6th birthday coming up. I wanted to set it all up for her. The difficulty is, there are no instructions. That is a huge problem. Also, there are basics you need to know, such as how long the battery lasts, how long it takes to charge it, how do you find things that you have installed.
Despite the lack of instructions, it is not particularly hard to set up. (Don't wait until the last minute because you need to charge it before you can work on it.)
