    Stink Skunk

Comments about LEGO Legends of Chima - Skunk Attack (70107):

I got this for my sister for christmas, she got me furty but I have tried it and it is awesome. The obstacle is really easy and the wolf head is nice. Skinnet has a wolf speedor mold that has no teeth and is black. the spear is fine but the whip is rare. Definetly a good set to add to your collection.(the whip powerup does not help it balance)

    Best Speedor!

    By BRICKMANIAC1

Comments about LEGO Legends of Chima - Skunk Attack (70107):

If someone came up to me and asked me what my favorite speedorz was this definitely would be it . The speedorz and course are great. The course is challenging but is extremely fun.The figure Skinnet is also great. He is the first skunk of the skunk tribe. I love the fact LEGO made a tail for him; it adds to the awesome headpiece, torso, and legs. I own seven speedorz and Skinnet is my fastest one. If you want one or two speedorz this one is a must have.

A review on the set and the Speedorz in general

    By toonstrack

    from Pittsburgh

Comments about LEGO Legends of Chima - Skunk Attack (70107):

Ok, so I really wanted this Speedorz set not only because Skinnet is my favorite character in the TV show but also because I really wanted to try out one of the Speedorz. Before I even got this, I'd watched many reviews and unboxings of them, and for the most part, they had seemed really cool. However, I'd also heard many people saying that they don't like the Speedorz because they can't get them to go straight even with the stabilizing Power-Up and that they wobble alot, making it difficult to hit ramps or whatever you are trying do with them. So I wanted to see for myself. First, the minifig: Skinnet the skunk is a great minifig. There's alot of things that people don't like about the Chima theme, but pretty much everyone agrees that the minifigs are awesome. This one is no exception. I think its great that LEGO gives every character a two-sided head so you can change their expression, even though Skinnet's two expressions don't vary a whole lot. However, alot of people have complained that LEGO should've made the tail part of the waist, because the way its done as a neck piece leaves a small gap between his body and his tail. But its not that big of a deal to me. And as a said in the beginning, Skinnet is my favorite character in the TV show, so its fitting that he's my first Chima minifig, and his two weapons are cool as well.. Now onto the actual game: So basically there's this wolf head you build with an opening mouth and a target that attaches to it. The head holds a chi orb in its mouth, and your supposed to send a Speedor riding up the ramp to hit the target, open the wolf's mouth and send the chi orb out for you and the person your playing with to grab for. The wolf head looks nice, but it can fall apart from falling or being hit alot. There's alot of pieces that separate rather easily from the build compared to other sets, and its a bit top-heavy 'cause of the shield, but It functions well and stays apart good enough to serve its purpose. The ramp has nice pieces, but isn't really anything special. As for hitting the target, its very easy to do, and most would be able to accomplish it in their first few tries. To make it more challenging, I like to move the ramp far away and try to get the Speedor to go farther and still hit the target. It's actually pretty fun. However, I'm pretty much the only person out of my friends who have tried these things out, so I haven't played the game with anyone and don't plan on doing it anytime soon. Thus, I have no use for the cards. That said, they make nice collectibles and have so pretty cool artwork on them. And the Speedor looks nice, too. Now onto the actual review on the Speedorz themselves: As I said in the beginning of the review, I've heard alot of stuff about the Speedorz. I've heard that they wobble and cannot go straight, and so alot of people don't like them. And this is from adults and kids alike. I even heard that LEGO employees have trouble with them. So I've tried launching my Speedor all different kinds of ways, from strong launches to weaker ones, to see how much they really wobble. And I can only say that I'm really confused, actually. Even when launching at medium strength, I've had almost no problems getting the Speedor to go straight, with or without the Power-Up. Yes, it does wobble a little, but only when I launch weakly does it turn alot. And I'm only a teen, so I really have no idea how adults have trouble getting them to go straight. The only people I can see having problems with these are young children. I've heard that the Speedorz needs two more wheels, but this is not the case. The one-wheeled design actually helps it to land upright easier, from what I've seen with my own Speedor. It's like this: if you weakly push a tire down a street, it will wobble and fall quickly. Put if you powerfully shove the tire, it will go much farther. It's the same thing with these Speedorz, slow launch = more wobbling, strong launch = less wobbling. So the only people I wouldn't recommend this for are young children who cant launch strong. Finally, the conclusion: I definitely recommend these to anyone who won't have problems launching the Speedorz. They are quite fun to play with, and the minifigs are great, so I say no matter what you've heard about them, try one out and see for yourself - you won't be "sooorry."

Wow! I can say just one thing. Lego did an AMAZING job on Skinnet and his speedor! the detail is fantastic. i love the fact thjat they gave skinnet a tail!!! the main design with the wolf head and feature is pretty cool. i like how you launch your speedor at the ramp and aim for the target to launch the Chi from out of the wolf heads mouth. the tongue and inside of the mouth is very detailed and the weapons are nice. I would definatly recommend you pick this set up its a great way to start off your Skunk tribe! Thank you for reading my review!
