Comments about Toys R Us 1001325 Edu Science Know How? Rock Tumbler:

This is such a disappointment! It did work well for the first round of rocks but on the second round, following the instructions and inclosed materials, holes were worn though the barrel and the gritty water leaked out into the machine and motor and then onto our carpet. This isn't just a waste of money it costs money to replace or clean other damaged property. I would give it more than one star for it's short working performance but the destruction it caused brings this toy tumbling down. I'd suggest to toys r us that they not use this company anymore. it gives them a bad name. And no, toys are us won't replace or refund. They have an especially short refund period for 'learning toys'....wonder why....

Comments about Toys R Us 1001325 Edu Science Know How? Rock Tumbler:

Stones came out looking the same as when they went in. Jewelry making kit is a joke. The stones are WAY too big to even come close to fitting in the setting holders. HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!

Comments about Toys R Us 1001325 Edu Science Know How? Rock Tumbler:

0, none, zip, nada instructions included with product.
When opening add water and avoid creating dust. Sure, how much water?
How long to tumble for stages 1-4? No idea, there's no instructions!
Are the 4 lights timed and turn off when each stage is complete?
Maybe, who knows. Your guess is as good as mine!
Waste of time, effort and money.
Don't bother folks.

Very cheap. Holes will appear in the tumbler after 1 week causing it to leak everywhere. Waste of money. Boring for kids as it takes a good month to produce the results following the directions.

Comments about Toys R Us 1001325 Edu Science Know How? Rock Tumbler:

Purchased this product for my granddaughter. We ran the first group of rocks. No problems, except they never polished. We tried a second batch of rocks. We got as far as the first tumbling and holes appeared in the plastic tumbler amd it leaked all over everything. Took the tumbler back to Toys R Us and received a replacement. We started the tumbling process. During the final tumbling cycle holes appeared in the tumbler and it leaked everywhere. On close examination, you could see thin spots all over the plastic tumbler (hold tumbler and look from inside towards a light source.).

Comments about Toys R Us 1001325 Edu Science Know How? Rock Tumbler:

Our son got this as a Christmas present, he'd been waiting for ages! First, it takes weeks, you have to change the powders, ect. We were fine with that, though skeptical. By the time we'd gone through the four different powders for the times they specified, the canister had holes all over it from the rocks tumbling. And the rocks looked exactly as they'd gone in. Very sad little boy!
