We play this game (the original version) every year while vacationing at the beach. Great for evenings and rainy days. It's become a tradition with our extended family.

As others have mentioned, the game does tend to repeat itself, but that's no problem with us. Usually, the same team doesn't get the same questions. We don't notice, or maybe we are just too dense, but we don't remember the questions or answers from round to round. lol Also, since we only play once or twice a year, we can never remember having the same questions.

We have somehow misplaced our game, so I am heading to TRU to buy the second edition. Looking forward to seeing new categories. :)

This is a great game....whether you have 2 people or 10 people. My only complaint is that is does tend to repeat itself after a few rounds. I keep looking for an update or newer version to buy?? so far have found nothing??

Game is great for small or large groups and for most all ages! We've played it so often -- because it's just that much fun -- that we know most of the words in some of the categories. Time for an expansion pack PLEASE! Or at least a new version! It's good enough to buy again!

Really fun game until you play it so much the same words keep coming up and everyone knows exactly what to say to get the person to guess the word. This game has a lifespan depending on how much you play. Can we get a part 2 already jeez its been 3 or 4 years already.

The first time I played this game was around Christmas time with my sister's co-worker's family. We had a blast! It's so fun and competitive! And you get so into it. So the second I got a chance I ordered one for myself and I've brought the game to so many family functions and gatherings with friends. The more people the better, the only con I've experienced so far is that sometimes if people are too loud you won't hear the game's buzzer go off which can cause confusion. Back in the day we'd have to bust out the Taboo (with all it's cards, pencils, and timer) but Catchphrase is very portable, I just slip it in my purse. If you're a fan of Taboo, this game is just as great times a hundred.

great for the whole family. no board, pieces or cards. we use it on the boat and everyone has a lot of fun with it.
