My son had colic and very few things would calm him. He would sleep in this swing everyday (which meant that I got a much needed nap). He didn't appreciate the mobile, sounds, and lights until recently (around 5 months), but the soft motion would lull him to sleep and keep him asleep for hours when he wouldn't sleep anywhere else for more than minutes.

we've had this swing for about 3 months my son originally had just a back and forth one and didnt like it so we got him this one because the mobile has lots to look at and it swings side to side. he loves it, now all swings eat through batteries but this one i use almost everyday and im still using the first batteries, the key is when they start to die you just have to crank it up cause then the fast setting is a slow setting and we've been running on pretty dead batteries for almost a month!!!

This swing is great! My Very Fussy baby loves this thing! The swing has a cool light and great mobile. This only "con" is that the music is wierd -- but my baby doesn't seem to know or care, but it drives me a little crazy.
This is our second swing, because they don't sell this in the stores I didn't think to register for it. Instead I registered for Sleepy Safair Swing, and it was aweful. So new Mom's -- check out all the "on line only items" before you finalize your registry.
ps - the Fisher Price Glider is awesome too, and it's online only.

All three of my children had reflux and my 2 girls had colic but whan nothing else would calm them or get them to sleep or stay asleep this swing would do the job! I don't think I would have had more then one child if not for this swing. The batteries last longer if you just use the sound and swing, no light. I always keep the swing on the lowest setting and as the batteries start to wear down I keep the sound off and turn the swing to a faster setting. but the water noise and the sound and motion of the swing is great. My now 6 month old will only nap while being held or in her swing.

Baby loved the swing but it keeps breaking , this is my second one in 3 months. I have to call to have it returned it's too bad

My daughter loves the lighted water globe and all the fishies to look at. It is very comfortable and entertaining for her to be in. The problems that I have with this swing is the fact that the D size batteries last only two weeks if it is used on a regular basis. Then the music peter's out and the swinging motion slows down. It is also a bit cumbersome to move around if you don't want it in just one spot all the time.

Adorable and has many options. However, before construction, I suggest ensuring that the back rods (in the very back of the motorized part) have the holes for the back and floor rods to snap into. One of our rods in the motorized part is missing a hole, so the rod doesn't actually snap into place.

This is the second swing I have bought for my son. His firs was the precious planet fisher price swing...he hated it and so did I! He loves to be in this swing. The music and water globe don't stay on very long, but the overall swing is amazing!

This swing gave me back my sanity. My daughter has reflux and gas. She did not sleep more than 40 minutes at a time from birth to six weeks. Since we got the swing she sleeps 7-10 hours a night in it. The batteries are replaced every 2 weeks, and the cost is worth it.The water function is great white noise and often lulls her back to sleep. The incline helps with the reflux. Thank you Fisher-Price!
The lamb model does not work as well - motor is slower!
