Description

Kids love to chat on the phone and this classic, roll-along pull-toy with a friendly face, and eyes that move up and down when the toy is pulled along makes it even more fun!

Since 1930, Fisher-Price has been in business to create toys that fascinate and stimulate a child's imagination. Fisher-Price was founded in 1930, hardly the best time to launch a new business as the shadows of the Depression still loomed over American business. Still, Herman Fisher, Irving Price and Helen Schelle combined their diverse manufacturing and retailing experience to create a toy company and confidently brought 16 wooden toys to the International Toy Fair in New York City. The whimsical nature and magical surprises of those first Fisher-Price toys quickly caught on and became the hallmarks of Fisher-Price ever since. Fisher-Price believes in the potential of children and in the importance of a supportive environment in which they can grow, learn, and get the best possible start in life. Fisher-Price supports today's families with young children through our breadth of products that includes GeoTrax, Imaginext, Little People, Laugh and Learn, Thomas the Tank, Thomas and Friends, Elmo, Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go, Sesame Street, Smart Cycle, Ni Hao Kai-Lan, Toy Story and other learning toys and pretend play items.

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Chatter Phone:

my 12 month old niece LOVES this toy...she picks up the receiver and says 'ALO', 'ALO'...she loves dialing. Though the cord is short for safety reasons, this is still an excellent must have...no lights, annoying noises, just a fun, cute toy

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Chatter Phone:

It's a pretty average toy. My daughter played with it once in a while and mostly (even at 12 months) just chewed on the string. Now at 24 months she can't play with it because of her baby sister, it's not safe for younger kids, so it's put away most of the time.

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Chatter Phone:

I got this for my son because I want him to have some classic toys. It seemed smaller and cheaper than what I expeced The string has nothing to pull the phone with. It just looks like a red string that was attached. It also is not very long and topples over when trying to bring it across the floor

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Chatter Phone:

This little phone is cute and I remember it from when I was a kid. I read the reviews about the phone cord being too short, but I understand why they do it - choking hazard. My 2 year old just holds up the phone to her ear and holds the base in the other hand. My 1 year old just lays on the floor and plays with it or drags it around. She likes to dial the phone - I was surprised she could do this at 11 months old with nobody showing her. They don't seem to act frustrated with the cord at all, but with all the other toys they got this Cmas they don't really play with it that much yet.

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Chatter Phone:

The same classic toy we grew up with! Even though my daughter got several phones already for gifts, I had to buy this one for her because it didn't come with all the noise and lights. It is the basic pull-along phone that I had when I was little. It's great to not have to worry about all the noise driving me crazy, like some of the others!

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Chatter Phone:

I understand the possible frustrations about the short cord. But face it: anything longer is considered a strangulation hazard and in today's world full of law-suits no manufacturer is going to make anything with a longer cord and sell it for little children). Both of my daughters enjoyed this phone VERY much. We have several toys which have strings to be pulled around but this phone and FP's puppy toy (also a great basic/classic toy) were always their favorite. They often talked with the phone on the table in front of them, me holding the phone in front of them while playing together, when they got older they pretended to chat with friends while laying on the carpet on their tummies... they didn't seem to mind that short cord at all. I appreciated that the toy was not noisy, was very economical, didn't need any batteries, was a lot of fun for several years,

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Chatter Phone:

The cord for the phone is too short my son can not hold it up to his ear and he gets very frustrated with it. This is one of those toys that will just sit there and never be played with.
