      This is the only toy my now adult son cried for in a store. My 2 year old grandson did the same. I am getting the Corn Popper for my son's16 month old daughter after she played with her cousin;s. Don't know what it is but they love this toy. Hope her daddy lets her play with it!

      Current version inferior to the earlier models

      I have one of the earlier models of the Melody Push Chime. It is always one of my first gift choices for toddlers because my children and grandchildren have always loved it. My toy is dented and held together with screws and tape but it is far superior to this current version. The new model doesn't wheel as nice and the chime leaves much to be desired. I can't tell you how many times I have had to make other gift choices because I just can't bring myself to buying the current model. This is a super toy and the company needs to go back to the original design and remake any future Melody Push Chimes in the earlier version. Hard to rate this because it's a great toy.

            I had one of these as a child--made of wood, rolled easily, lasted forever. I was very excited to buy one for my 13-month-old who loves pushing things.

            Like most infant toys now, it is made of all plastic, which is fine, except it doesn't work on our carpet or ceramic flooring. In order to make it work well, you have to push down hard and angle it just right. Perhaps this one just isn't quite right. He doesn't care for it because it only works when I do it.
