      This is a good product. It's fun to PLAY with. All of those who give it bad ratings, keep this in mind... IT IS NOT FOR KIDS! It is for loose dirt,sand etc. Not for picking up blocks, heavy items etc. I have been a heavy equipment operator for ten years, this is a good playtoy. I highly recommed NOT GIVING THIS TO KIDS! Of course it will break if you give it to a kid.

We were very disappointed in this product and the way it was advertised. It is more of a collectible toy for an adult -- NOT for a child!

          My son had seen this at FAO Schwarz and literally glued himself to the display window to get close enough to it! He's 4 and I read the reviews and maybe 3 is too young to appreciate all the features. It's as close as you can get to the real thing. It's a massive, well made piece and it's a big hit when he has friends over. These trucks are not made in China which is a big plus for me.

                  My 4 year old longed for this toy. We got it for him for his birthday. Within a week one of the rods was broken to work the digger arm. We were all very disappointed. For the price you pay for this item, and it being designed for children, it really isn't worth it. It is built poorly and cannot withstand normal child usage. Don't waste your money.

                  My son loves this Excavator! He is crazy about excavators and this one is very realistic!!! He loves it so much, that he takes it to bed with him! We have had it since last Christmas, and it has held up very well. I will definitely buy Bruder again.

                  This is a piece of junk! It is plastic and fragile. Pieces broke off when we tried to remove it from the box. My 4-year-old tries to lift blocks and the plastic rods snap off. The track slides off, too. We thought that it would be metal due to the price. What a rip-off.

                  We gave this product to our 3-year-old son as a Christmas present and were very disappointed with it. The machine was built very cheaply and was easily broken. The controller broke after being dropped only once. The age rating is way off on this product. Although a 3-year-old can operate it quite easily, it is not made to withstand the average use of your typical 3-year-old boy.
