I purchased this as a gift for my son, when I went to set it up the pieces were snapping in half. I packed it back into its box and returned it, wouldn't have given it to my child or any other child would be afraid of choking hazards.

Pegs do not stay in place on the backboard, but my son likes rearranging them anyway. Good selection of tools, both 2.5 year old son & 6 1/2 year old daughter really enoy this. However, neither is very rough on their toys, so this is great for us. If your child is very rough on toys, this might be too lightweight. Good product overall, very pleased.

"Instructions" consist of grainy black and white photos. But my son does enjoy it.

This work station is a lot of fun!!! Grandparents bought it for my son for Christmas and he LOVES it! He plays with it everyday. He really enjoys playing with the different tools, he takes them all around the house. The tools are great because they make noises like the real tools do and they light up!

Durability could be better...it is a little flimsy if you move it around too much, but it doesnt fall apart. I've moved it several of times because my son wants me to move it from room to room so he can continue playing with it when we are in a different room in the house.

I would say its perfect for ages 2-5. If there's a con, it would be all the noises the tools make! lol because it drives me crazy after a while.... but it's all part of the fun. In my opinion, its a great toy for the money!!

I have never left a review before, but I had to because this product was that bad! We received this as a christmas gift for our identical twin 4 year old boys and before we could even put it together, the "power drill" fell apart and we had to return it. After hours spent at a store exchanging it for a new one and an hour putting it together (took so long due to "help" from the little ones in addition to AWFUL instructions) we decided immediately that we were taking it back. It is so flimsy, AWFUL!!! The plastic is so cheap that it was warped fresh out of the box which probably contributed to the rear grey tray popping out constantly defeating its entire purpose. The original category this product is listed under says "pretend play" and by my experience with my kids, there wasn't much of that inspired by the product. They took the tools away from the bench and played with them on other surfaces because there was nothing really to do on the bench. The tools just make a lot of noise, that is it! If you are bent on getting the Home Depot product line I recommend just getting the tools because it isn't worth close to $70 for a glorified tool holder. We are exhchanging it for the Black and Decker or Imaginarium tool bench. A cardboard box would be better that this thing!

My 2year old has really been enjoying this product since getting it for a Xmas gift. It is the perfect height and nothing is too heavy for him. I do think it could have been a little sturdier for the price..but then again I think everything is overpriced these days! I also wished it came with instructions that were a little more clear or that pieces had been labeled.

Recieved this as a gift for my 2.5 year old son who absolutly loves it. He loves the noises the tools make and he feels like he is helping daddy with his tools. Plays with it all the time. My 6.5 year old daughter also finds it interesting and wants her brother to share with her.
Little flimsy, but my 2 year old could care less.

Very flimsy, the tray won't clip into the holes and pops out anytime you try to store anything in it. It came with tools that make noise but do little else. My daughter had a small tool set that let you screw things in and out, hammer, etc. this seems to just make noise and provide little else.

The kids (2-1/2 and 1-1/2) play with this toy all day. It is a little on the flimsy side and uses a lot of batteries (9 AA). To pack it up like the commercial on tv means, disassembling it. Overall, I'm satisfied with it. Would recommend to others.
