The bench and accessories are a hit. It is hilarious to watch my son put the goggles on and rummage through the parts - and work with the tools. One of the drills didn't work (problem with battery connection?) but the entire package was still well worth it. It has been a lot of fun.

We just bought this for my 2.5 year old DAUGHTER!! Lately she has shown interest in tools when we are using them and she wants to help. We decided to go to Toys- R- Us to buy a small tool kit, but we left with this. We are very pleased with our purchase. She kept playing with the "power" tools while in the box. The air wrench lights up which really attracted her. there are also 3 other noise making tools. When we got home and set it up, we found it was pretty cool that the air wrench could tighten down screws on the work bench's surface. Our daughter did this herself on her second attempt. While I agree that it would be nicer to have something that she could assemble or at least attempt, I have to give it 5 stars because I have never seen her so excited or play with something ALL day. She woke up from her nap asking for her tools. There are a lot of different tools to keep her occupied. The safety googles are definitely adorable too.

My husband and I just bought this for our two year son. Although I agree with other reviews that the work bench itself is very flimsy, I believe it's great for the price and my son absolutely loves playing with all of the power tools that come with it!! I would definitely recommend this bench for children ages 2-4. Any older may get bored quickly/ be too rough for the quality of the bench.

I bought this for our grandson over a year ago and he plays with it all the time. This year we are buying one for his house. He spends alot of time with us so he did use it alot. We gave him a small piece of wood and hes delighted and the tools are great. Only suggestions is maybe they can sell kits that the kids can make with the bench

My little boy got this pretend tool set as a Christmas gift last year (2006). He has been enjoying to play with this set a lot. When his little friends come over to visit, they all love to have fun together with this pretend tool set. He likes to be a "handy person" just like daddy. He knows the safety reason why daddy doesn't allow him to touch and use the real tool set. Then he will get him pretend tool set out and very interesting to learn more about his "tools". When he sees us fixing something, he would go to get his tools and asks us if he can help us with his tools too. My husband and I feel so touching every time when he try to help us with his "tools". The instructions were kind of confused a little bit but my husband still made it work. Glad to see him happy and play safe with this tool set.

My 3 year old got this for Christmas when he was 1. He is now 3 and has a 2 year old little brother. They both play with this bench constantly. They get all dressed up and pretend to build me a house. The best part are the power tools that light up. Great toy!!

This product doesn't even have a place to nail. The screws only work if you put a bolt on the other side of it, which is hard for a 3 year old to hold both. I feel I was very mislead by the description on the box. I can't believe Home Depot would want their name on this product. If I could trade this in for a different one, I would do it in a heartbeat.

This product is poorly made and very flimsy. I believe in the description that it suggests you use the tools included to put the workbench together. I was pretty excited about putting this together with my 3 year old until we discovered that the Power air wrench and power cordless screwdriver do not even have enough power to simply hand tighten any of the plastic nuts and bolts. This left my 3 year old frustrated and me to do all the work by hand.

If you want a tool set that has lots of pieces and makes noises this is perfect. If you want your toddler to be able to use any of these tools... Don't waste your money.

I bought this for me nephews 2nd birthday last week and he luvs it hes a lil handy man all the way he very much enjoys it and loves all the tools my son whos 3 also loves it the only dislike i have is that teh directions are just picture i used the box picture to basically put it together and i also dont like that the bench is held together buy the lil screws they play with so soon anof hell figure it out and take it apart they should of had real screws and made the plastic ones as maybe a cover or the real screw but other then that my nephew loves it and is enjoying it i def would recomment friends and family if they have a lil handy man who loves to be like there daddy defenetly go out and buy this im def getting this for my son for christmas this year
