This worked great for two nights. It made a big difference in my child's sleep.However after 2 nights it started to leak despite being cleaned. It leaked so much it ruined our hardwood floors!

I bought this humidifier to use with my first daughter. This will be our third winter/cold season using it. I can run it all night after filling it before bedtime. I rinse it regularly and wash the parts (that do develop deposits) about once a week. It is quiet, hasn't leaked on me yet, and seems to help her. The only thing I have to do is put it on a towel on top of her bureau because of condensation, but it has not damaged my furniture at all. I like it so much I am registering for a second one for my second daughter!

Just bought this to help with my son's congestion. I wondered why there was tape holding the difference pieces together when I pulled it out of the box. I figured out pretty quickly: When I pulled the tape off, I noticed that none of the pieces seemed to fit together just right. And when I filled the container with water, it immediately started leaking from all the seals. Perhaps the one I bought was just faulty but when I return this to the store tomorrow, I will definately buy a different model.

I have used this product for about two years now. It is a really good product with a few problems. The steam peals the paint off our walls, definately leave the door open a crack. :) Also unless you have well water it will most likely leave a deposit on the heating elemet which is really annoying. If you can get past that then you're good. It will just look crusty. Other than that I love the product, it is quiet (i can still hear the baby monitor good) and you can pick two levels. The two levels are good if you don't want the room to get too hot or to peal the paint. You also have to put the humidifier on something plastic or it will leave a mark on the wood.

This is a hard product to rate. It does have a HUGE plus-side...it truly does ease the pain and discomfort of my child's colds/coughs and makes a big difference in helping her sleep. It is also convenient that it is filter-free (it's washable vs. having to replace it) and will run all night on one tank. But here's the problem...like many others have stated, it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean unless you do it thoroughly after every use. I, like most moms, do not have the time for that, especially when my child needs it at nap and night time everyday. I realize that this is a WARM mist humidifier, but I didn't know that it could burn you if too close. And here's the kicker...I can't put it up on the furniture to keep it out of child's reach because it damages the finish on the furniture! I don't know if it's the heat/moisture/medication or a combo of all three, but it has made the finish on two different pieces of furniture sticky (in two different sized rooms on two different occasions). And with it on the floor, my curious toddler has gotten out of bed to "sample" the liquid medication that was left over in the morning!

It doesn't come with all the parts needed for operation straight out of the box and nobody seems to sell the needed parts. Don't know if it works or not! One for the garbage.

I use it for the bedroom. I haven't had any problems with it, no leaks. The noise is quiet to me its the same as a fan. I was worried because I read the reviews after I bought it but it works just fine.

This humidifier is DIRTY. When you clean it, there are calcium deposits inside of the humidifier that are IMPOSSIBLE to clean!!!
