We bought this game 12 years ago for our oldest child and lost it in a move and have now purchased it again for our youngest child. The game may be somewhat simplistic but all my children have loved it- they all started playing around 3 years old and up. Being able to count the cherries is wonderful for the kids as it makes them feel like equal participants who are able to play just like the grown ups. This is not a game I would play just with older kids but it is a family favorite that includes everybody regardless of age. Although I must admit that tweens can get bored,young kids always like the game. Great for helping learn simple math skills.

This is a great learning game for younger pre-school age children. Teaches them how to count, take away, add, etc.. However, the pieces are very small, easily lost if dropped on ground they bounce around and have to search to find them. We were very bored after one game.

It's still the original Hi Ho Cherry O game, but it's been updated. All of the players don't have cherries like the original. The players choose from oranges, blueberries, apples, and cherries. My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves playing his "big kid" game.

Great game that any child 3 and up can enjoy! I got this for my niece for her birthday and she absolutely loves this game. I was so excited to find that this game is still around being I played it when I was kid. Great for the counting skills! It does have small pieces so for anyone who would be concerned of their child putting things in their mouth then I would wait till they are old enough to know better.

my daughter is in occupational therapy and this game is a fun way to work on her pincer grip, have fun, learn about counting and how to win and lose a game. We play it on family game night and she plays it on her own too.
