    Very colorful! There are a lot of activities associated with this mat: music, lights, crinkles, squeaks, pull-down toys, lift-up peek-a-boo pieces, and a mirror. It was a bit overwhelming for our newborn, but we've continued to give him back- or tummy-time for brief periods until he's gotten more comfortable with it. With so much to do on the mat, it definitely holds his attention. Although the mat is machine washable, I've only spot-cleaned it so far because I think it might be tricky to get it back on the frame.

    When I first bought this for my son he was 6 weeks old, he didn't really like the overhead things, it kind of scared him, so I just took them down, but now that he's 14 weeks, he loves it all and it keeps him entertained for a good 1/2 hour ..but my complaints are 2 of the 3 lights in the flowers stopped working, the elephant never jiggled from the day I brought it home, and it only plays 2 songs, which easily becomes very annoying...

    My daughter loves her play mat! She is four months old and often has one toy in each hand while kicking two more with her feet. She can interact with everything attached now, but she even loved it when she was too young to grasp and play. She especially loves the parrots tail feathers which she chews on frequently! The only down side is that there are only a few songs which play over and over. I would have loved more selections from Mozart instead of just one that gets stuck in my head!

    This was definitely a worthwhile product!

    My daughter loves this toy! I was unsure which playmat to purchase, but the awards won me over. My daughter loves to play with the girrafe and monkey, and she likes to feel the jittery elephant on her feet. She will lie there, talking to her friends, looking in the mirror, kicking and pulling on the toys. She even rolled over for the first time while on this mat. I like that I can move and add toys to make it engaging for my child. We take the giraffe with us to daycare! I have not experienced any issues withs the lights or music...we use it so often, I have changed batteries in it twice! The only "complaint" I have is that the song can get stuck in your head...but the smile on my daughters face makes it worth it!!!

    when we first got the product the lights didn't work so we sent it back. when we got the replacement, the lights still weren't working correctly, but the baby seems to be happy with it, it keeps her occupied for a little while.

    This was very easy to put together and baby likes it! The lights on the flowers did stop working right away (maybe because our cats peed on it) and it is kind of pricey, however I got it as a shower gift. We also got the Baby Einstein Neptune- Ocean gym too, and it seems like he likes this one better.

    It is a very colorful play mat. There are two drawbacks. One, the lights around the flowers stopped working after two uses. Two, the squeaky whistle stopped working after one squeeze. It's an okay product, not that great. A little pricey for the product.
