This set Lincoln Logs kept my three grandsons (9yrs. 3yrs. 2yrs) busy all day long christmas.Every time they come to the house it's one of the first things they go get. It helps the little ones with motot skills and all three imaginative play.It's entertaining for the kids and us big kids too. My oldest did not play with the computer.

We bought this for our oldest grandson when he was about 3 he is now 9 he played with it and there are 6 years difference between him and his little brother and it still here giving hours of entertainment. Over the years instructions were lost but customer service was very helpful with getting us another set of instruction.

Bought this for my almost 5 year old son for Christmas. He's never had Lincoln Logs before so didn't know what this was when he opened it;) Once I opened it up and helped him build the buildings he enjoyed it. However, he still doesn't like to follow steps and wanted to do it his way. I really had fun building the buildings. The directions show pictures of lots of options for building but do not include step-by-step directions for other options. I think my son will enjoy this more when he's a little older or will just use it to build what he wants. I do wish the logs would stay together a little better.

I was disappointed when my son and I started to build some log cabins. This set is not like the one I had when I was a kid. There are not enough long logs to build a four walled cabin. You can only bulid three walls and two must be short. This really limits what you can build. One good point is the new roofs. The roofs are all one piece and do fit nicely on the logs.
