I had this game when I was a kid, and now my child is enjoying the game. The game may be challenging to put together the first time, but the assembly becomes easier as the kids become familiar with the pieces. After we played and assembled the game together the first time, my six year old was able to assemble the game herself following the building plan. After a couple of times, she can now set it up in the correct order by herself from memory.

Clearly this is a game designed for kids with long attention spans, steady hands and patience. It was difficult for them (7& 9 year olds) to assemble without adult involvement. we ended up just putting it together and playing with the trap and ignoring the intended purpose of the game. Can't believe it has been around so long

Bought this for my five year old son for his birthday. He was so excited to play it, but once fully assembled, and we let the marble roll, the whole thing doesnt work. The boot didnt quite reach the bucket to kick it over, so we gave it a little push, then the hand that is supposed to knock the second marble on its path just didn't do its job, so we manually sent that marble on its way. half the time it hits the actual trap, it doesn't come down. I remember this game when I was little and it was awesome, but things are just not well made these days. We are going to try to dig up our old one in my parents attic if it is even still up there. These companies really need to stop making things so cheap.

Great game for a child 5+, you have to be a complete moron to not be able to assemble it with your kid(s). Had this when I was a kid, now my kids love it too. So retro. Must have done something right if it's still around after 20+ years.

I bought this game for my 4 year old daughter and she absolutely adores it!! She picks this game over all the others to play everytime! This is really fun for the both of us to do together, but it is kind of a long game, so if your child is easily distracted, it might not be the best.
