I owned this game as a child,I purchased it for my daughter when she was a child, and I now have purchased this game for my 2 young granddaughters.
Only have positive things to say about the Candyland board game.

Maybe in this world of video games and over stimulated kids, the game makers are trying to compete, but it's just too much. The game itself is fine; it's just the board.

This was my first board game as a 5 year old kid, but I didn't remember it being fun, so when our 5 year old son said he wanted it for his birthday we were a bit surprised. However, he was so very happy to get it. We've played it more than a dozen times already and it's been great. Our son is a budding scientist, loves robots and doing experiments etc. but it is so nice to just sit down as a family and enjoy a game of Candyland, and you can play three times in a row and it's still fun! It's right up there with UNO as a timeless family favorite.

My husband and I were playing one evening with our 4 yr. old son, and daddy was losing. Daddy kept saying he would quit, but he didn't. It was hilarious! Our son was the winner and his daddy finally showed some good sportsmanship and congradulated him,(lol).:)
