My daughters received this as a Christmas gift from their grandparents and they totally love it. It was perfect since they love music and anything that makes musical sounds. Ever since they got it, they've been playing with it everyday. Even my eldest sings her little tunes with her piano. I noticed a great deal of negative comments relating to this piano such that "it doesn't sound like a piano." As indicated in the songbook, the sounds of this piano are caused by hammers striking little metal bars unlike the traditional piano stings and thus, creates a "Toy Piano" sound. This means that there is no need for the annual piano tune up as most real pianos have to have in order to have that "piano sound." Anyway, if you really want that real sounding piano, be prepared to spend over a $1,000 along with the annual tune-ups and any repairs made by the wear and tear caused by enthusiastic little musicians. But, if you want your kids to appreciate music and foster their musical creativity, this little toy piano would be perfect!

The keys stopped working as soon as is was put together. This gift was such a DISAPPOINTMENT! I would expect this from a [$] piano, not a [$] one.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!!!They should take this product off the market.

      This is the same as the Junior upright piano, except you pay more for the wood. The sound is Terrible. Just Awful. Striaght out the box, and keys are broken. Returning it tomorrow... BOOOOOO! Both Thumbs down on this one.

      My 2 year old daughter, enjoys music, so was thrilled to have a small piano as a Xmas gift. It is very cute, good size for my daughter and a great way for my daughter to learn the keys and how to make piano music. Great starter. The sound quality not the greatest and song book included not so great. But its a toy piano. Would recommend for toddlers, not for older kids.

      I bought this for my daughter's 2nd Christmas because she likes music, and I thought I would get this for her to bang around on. I was surprised when I opened the box and saw how easy it was to put together. Within 20 mins. I had the thing up and running, and now my daughter will just sit there and bang around to her hearts content. It doesn't have a piano type sound, it is more like that of a harpsichord almost, but I think it is the thought that counts, and it it not a bad item for the price.
