I bought this toy without doing any research. I was disppointed immediately after they were out of the box. They were poorly made.
1. These cubes are not in same size. Some of them are obviously smaller than others.
2. Paint comes off easily.
3. The wood is so soft that a little baby can chew it off.
4. Some of the pictures on the blocks are not clear even when it is new out of the box.

I can't believe this is from Melissa & Doug. I would not recommend this to my friends.

We bought these for our 22 month old grandson who already could identify all his ABC's.
Not sure who was more excited with the blocks, the grandson or his parents.
Lucas, our grandson, loves to identify the letters & pictures and also loves to stack the blocks.
Wonderful primary colors. Sturdy. A great learning tool. Next step-words with the blocks.

Great Block for little builders.
The blocks are a little smaller than I thought they would be but my son loves to stack these up and look at the ABC's.

Make sure u pick these up before bedtime because it sure does hurt to step on one of these.
Also you may want to get a plastic bin to put these in the bag is not all that great.

i wanted blcoks so bad for my baby so we could teach her letters, numbers, and build with them. these arent what i thought they'd be. they are just flimsy. there's 10 "T"s and 1 "e". we could hardly spell any word that uses the same letter twice. i cant spell "dad" with them! or even "mom"! i cant stack more than 4 on top without them falling over. and the biggest problem is that my daughter takes no interst in them, well stick to the old plastic blocks. im a big fan of mellisa and douge though so im disapointed. we have their wooden clock, and omg.... she loves that one. can play with it for hours. id advise you to buy the clock instead of these blocks.

I like alphabet blocks, but these seem a little boring to me. There are too many duplicate blocks - all having twins of the same color, patterns, letters, numbers, and cartoons. I wish there was a little more detail in the pictures too.
I would say this is a good average quality block set; nothing fancy, just ABCs and 123s.

These blocks are fine, they are small wooden blocks and good for very small children. However, it would be nice to have the dimensions/sizes of the blocks shown in the listing, as they are very small blocks, but in the photo, they appear larger than they are. We saw them in the store, and decided against them because they are too small. Good blocks, but just know they are small.
