We love this thermometer, easy to use, accurate reading and not invasive. We also the tried the r*ctal and ear one, but it was heard to read because our daughter hated them so much that we had to hold her down to get an accuarate reading.

Its an OK thermometer, but over priced in my opinion. It will give an accurate range of temperature, keyword RANGE. I rarely get the same reading twice. Luckily I work in healthcare/pediatrics, so I already have an overall idea of my daughters temperature just by touching her- this product just confirms it. My job no longer uses these types of thermometers because of the accuracy. Ive had it for over a year and it still works so that is a plus, but personally Im shopping for another thermometer.

It is tricky to use at first, but after you have practiced a couple of times it's super easy! I've owned many other thermometers and have ended up throwing them away since they cannot give me 2 readings that are remotely similar. By far the most reliable thermometer I've owned.

I wouldn't buy this again. It is difficult to get an accurate reading on a moving toddler. I had to go buy an ear thermometer to replace this!

We purchased this thermometer in preparation for our son's birth. It has been one of the handiest gadgets we have gotten and is worth every penny. Since purchasing it a few years ago, we have seen it used in doctor's offices, emergency rooms, etc. Last fall we were on vacation in the mountains and had to run to the nearest store to purchase an old fashioned kind that had to go under the tongue, arm, etc. and wait 1-2 minutes. We really missed our temporal thermometer! The instant results are great and the non-invasive method won't wake a sleeping baby. We haven't had any problems with it and the original battery is still working.

I've had no issues or problems with this thermometer. It's the same brand used at my doctor's office and it's easy to use. Like other reviewers note, read the directions. I have noticed there can be a slight variation in temperature if I do it multiple times within a few minutes, but nothing drastic - maybe .2 at the most, if any variation. I try to test a few times during the day to get an idea of my son's average temp. Overall, it's easy and fast to use. I actually bought a second one to have at grandma and grandpas's house. It came with batteries too so it's ready to use out of the package.

This is the best thermometer I have ever used. Read the instructions and you will be fine. It's really very easy to use if you follow the instructions. I can use this when my kid are sleeping and not even wake them up. AWESOME PRODUCT!
