I haven't played with a Rubik's cube since I was a middle schooler so I bought one for each of my 4 children. They LOVE them.

When the boredom sets in, each one would pick up their cube and play with it....even days after they received it. Cannot say that for many other toys.Small for on the go.

The ONLY issue I have with it is that the colors are stickers and the 14 yo immediately went to pulling the stickers off.

      I bought one of these for my kid because one of the rquirements was to solve a Rubik's cube for a math class. The Rubik's cube that her teacher gave her wasn't working well, and it got stuck a lot. My daughter was very frustrated, but this Rubik's Cube is so much smoother. Her teacher approved it, and by the end of the year, Abby knew how to solve a Rubik's Cube. This also makes a great gift all-year long! Happy shopping all!
