We just purchased this bed for my 2yr old son he loves it but the assembly took over two hours because the screw holes did not match up.

My husband and I bought this bed once that my son was having a hard time going to sleep and didn't want him to fall out of the crib. We bought him this, the directions was very easy. My son loved it.

Cut bed, my son loves it. But not worth the headache putting it together. My husband had to drill new holes in it because the pre-drilled holes didn't line up.

My son is very much into Disneys Cars so this bed was great! I WILL ADMIT assembly could have been a bit easier, but this is a very quality bed! Have a little patience people!!! Every item you buy has its pros and cons, so other than that this bed is amazing. The people that complain about how "horrible" it is obviously didn't have the patience to put it together, because if you look at all the good reviews it is a very good purchase.

If you could get past the assembly process of this bed, this bed is really worth the purchase. It is sturdy, attractive, and my son loves it! Actually, the directions are very clear and easy to follow. The problem is that the metal frame is quite tricky to put together. Be sure to line the metal bars in the holes BEFORE you start screwing it in! I was missing one screw after I counted all of the parts, and so I went to the hardware store to get another one. So I had to buy a small pack. The real problem was the screws! I do advise you to buy new ones that look the same, maybe slightly longer and wider at the very top. This will help you GREATLY!! I ended up using all of the new screws instead, which held together very well. Putting the headboard and footboard on the frame seems easy, but it may make you scream! You will get it together with a little patience though. Trust me, I never put anything together in my life. It was worth it though.

A nightmare to assemble the frame! None of the screws lined up properly and when finally assembled, the frame didn't line up with the headboard making it impossible to connect the two pieces. Definate waste of time and money. I have never been more disappointed with a product and will never buy another product.

I thought this was very cute! Putting it together was a difficult process. It said use manual screw drivers, but the screws would not go in straight or all the way, so I was forced to use an electric one. It took two of us two hours to put together, because it didn't want to line up due to the screws going in sideways. All said and done, it is very cute and sturdy, but I don't think we will be taking it apart to store it.

I read the reviews for the bed that I bought for my nephew, they weren't great but i htought I'd try it anyway. Most of the reviews were about the assembly. I only have use of one arm and I was able to do everything myself in about an hour. I then took a nap in the bed to check the quality. It was great. I guess some people don't know how to follow directions.

About ten minutes ago, I disassembled this bed after having it for over THREE YEARS!! This is a GREAT bed!! I don't remember having trouble with assembly like some others have stated in their comments, but even if you do, stick it out. It's totally worth it!! It's relatively inexpensive and extremely durable. It survived a move and it survived a VERY active (and sometimes destructive) little boy. I am about 200lbs and have sat on this bed with my son and it never even creaked. His mom (about 100 lbs) has laid on the bed with him. When I disassembled the bed I noticed one minor crack in the plastic footboard but otherwise it looks new. The metal bars have not bent a bit. My son is almost five and upgraded to a twin bed last night but I honestly think this bed could have lasted AT LEAST another two years.

we purchased this for our son tonight and thought it would take some time to put together but didn't expect it to take over and hour and a half trying to just put the initial screws into the metal frame! Even after this time we found there was no possible way of even putting this bed together. The alignment of the holes are so far off on most of the sections, you couldn't even get the screws half way in.

What a waste of my night! To the couple of reviews of people that got their beds together in a quick amount of time- you were very lucky to get a good bed. Most reviews said that they had a difficult time putting this thing together.

IF you are thinking of getting this bed- DON"T. It is not worth your precious time trying put it together.

Now my son is disappointed right before bed because he can't sleep in the new bed. Not worth my time of trying to calm him down either.
