We love this for walking / hiking with our daughter. It fits us both well, me being 5'5" and my husband is 5'10". Our 23 pound 10 month old, who is very long for her age, fits well in this too. Only complaint is if she falls asleep, her face rubs on the fabric on the front and that isn't very soft, so left marks on her face. We learned our lesson with that and now cover that with a soft receiving blanket for those times she falls asleep. Overall, great product and so happy we bought it.

My husband and I received this carrier for our daughter 9 yrs ago. we used it for her and then for her brother, 7 years ago. since then, we had passed it on. Now, I am expecting again and we searched for this same carrier, so happy to have found it. My husband LOVES this design and carried both of our older children in it while camping and hiking. The color is great. its easy to get the child in and out of. very sturdy, safe. HIGHLY recommend. :)

This backpack is a good concept. My daughter loves it and she appears very comfortable. It is not comfortable for me or my wife however. This is not a long distance/ hike all day pack. she is 18 lbs and after 2 miles, I can't wait to get it off my back. The kickstand broke as well. It is a poor design. I contacted Chicco( which is not easy) and was told that it is not repairable and no parts are available. They offered to sell me another backpack, shipping not included. We decided to invest in a different product.

We bought this item with a little hesitation for a trip to Europe. It came in so handy to travel and to connect airplanes in airports carrying our 27lb 11 month old. He absoluteley loved it because he was up high and could see everything. He would even take fall asleep in it. While in Europe we used it when we were on tours at tourist sites and whenever possible instead of lugging a stroller around. It met our expectations above and beyond. It is safe,durable and light weight. My husband was the one carrying the baby, can be a little heavy with a baby for a womans back.

This carrier is great for my husband who is 6'5" but not so great for me! I have a big baby he is 7 months and 26 pounds, and I cannot carry him in this back pack! My husband loves it and this is the only carrier we have found that fits him!

I bought this for my 11 month old while on vacation because we left our carrier at home. I will be returning it, its junk. There are very few pockets. THE BIGGEST ISSUE IS THE HARNESS! My son is average size (50%) for his age and the black padded seat doesn't allow the baby's shoulder straps to go high enough. Also the buckle is way down by his belly button and way too hard to fasten him in. He screams e very time I put him in it. Lastly, the shoulder straps for mommy killed my back! Not worth the money. Would only be ok for a baby under 6 months, but even then, just get the ergo baby.

Chicco backpack - the store was sold out but the sales person ordered on line while I waited. Shipping was free and saved $25 by ordering on line. very good experience and I have told several of my friends and daughter to be sure to take advantage of this wonderful service.

This carrier performs just as advertized. Using the carrier gives me the freedom to do other things with my hands like fill bird feeders. It allows my 10 month old granddaughter Greenlee to go with me and enjoy the out of doors. When I am moving too slow Greenlee claps me on the shoulder to "get a move on Papa". It is easy to load and easier to put on because the balance is just right.

Does not fit, I am 6'1" 165lbs. Pack does not sit on my hips as it should. My Son is 32lbs and the straps to hold him in did not fit.

Cheap, you get what you pay for.

I got a great deal on this product and I LOVE IT! I am 5'2" and it fits perfect, my son is 14 months and weights 24 pds and he loves it :)
