    I bought this for use with my special needs daughter to help her stay on track with daily activities. The very first time we used it, it helped! She was able to hear the tone and know the color of the lights changed. Just a few times using it and she is now able to manage her time better and complete her goals! It is a perfect aid in keeping track of how long each task should take her. I like how easy it is to program - you can select count down times of hours, minutes AND seconds, apply one of six sounds to each level or not at all. There is a volume dial as well. The lights are bright and easy to see. When not in use, the timer works as a digital clock. I haven't had any problems using this unit. One good read-through and set up with the instructions was enough for me. I definitely recommend this. NOTE: Unit requires 4 AA batteries - not included.

      THIS TIME TRACKER IS A GREAT TOOL TO USE AS A VISUAL AID FOR AUTISTIC CHILDREN. I USED THIS TO POTTY TRAIN MY YOUNGEST AT 3 AND A HALF. HE WAS DIAGNOSED AT AGE TWO WITH AUTISM. IT HAS HELPED IN OTHER AREAS WHERE TIME CONSTRAINTS ARE NECESSARY. IE SHOPPING, PLAYING, BEDTIME, AND SUCH. DEFINATELY A 5 STAR PRODUCT FOR CHILDREN WHO NEED THAT VISUAL STIMULATION.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
