We gave this doll to my daughter when she was 4 and she loves it even now that she is 6. All other dolls were tossed aside. The kissing effect doesn't work anymore but that hasn't stopped this doll from being her favorite to dress up and care for. We recently had a toddler girl move in next door and we constantly have to hide this doll from her when she comes over because she wants to play with it and take it home as well. We will be getting her her very own for XMAS. Its a simple doll but something about its softness, smell and realistic qualities make it a favorite with little ones.

We bought this for our 5 year old last year for Christmas. Our daughter LOVES this doll. It is soft. It is huggable. It's eyes close when you lay her down. Unfortunately the kissing & babbling stopped after about a week - new batteries did not help (we even checked the connections). So we waited for Toys R Us to restock. They replaced her free of charge. Again, the kissing stopped after about a week. It doesn't change my daughter's love for this doll (it goes everywhere). My only other comment is our daughter likes to change its clothes. Although any 16" doll clothes fit, this doll's body is made of white fabric and only has plastic skin starting just above the wrists and ankles. It bothers my daughter to see the white fabric so her doll only wears winter clothes. Ashame too because Toys R Us has some really cute 16" summer doll clothes. Overall, this doll has been a complete favorite to spite the technical difficulties and body fabric.

    I bought 6 of these dolls. The girls loved them. Two of the dolls were African- American of those two one din't work even after trying new batteries. The 4 caucasian dolls worked fine.

        purchased this for my young granddaughter and it worked for about 5 min. Would not make any sound when you touch her face. Pacifier has to be forced into the dolls mouth, difficult for grandma, impossible for 2 year old. Even trying to make work sqeezing its hand only worked some of the time. Would never recommend this product!!

                Very sweet baby doll. My 10 month old daughter received it as a gift and loves it. She kisses it and laughs with glee when the baby responds! NOTE: You must turn the switch on the baby's back to "on" in order for the cheek sensor feature to work. The baby will still kiss and laugh when you squeeze her hand even if the switch is set to off so I'm thinking that could be why people have had problems in the past.

                  I purchased this doll last Christmas for my sister-in-law who has Alzheimer's. She is very restless and agitated most of the time. The doll calms her and occupies her. She talks to it, carries it constantly, kisses it and just plain loves it. I am looking for a brother or sister doll to give her this year. My brother says the doll has held up well, even through my sister-in-laws constant tugging and handling of the doll. It has no hair, which in this case is a big plus. It is a keeper!!

                    I bought this and put new batteries in it thinking that was why it wasn't working. However it still didn't work at all. My little girl still really likes the doll and doesn't know it was supposed to do anything.
