I purchased two of these bed rails after my twins learned how to climb out of their cribs. I converted their cribs (Graco Ashleigh) to daybeds and then installed these bed rails. They were not yet ready for the freedom of a mattress on the floor and these help them still feel some containment but allow them to get out of bed safely. They were easy to install (especially on bed number 2) and feel very sturdy.

We are using this rail on a twin bed in a guest room for our 2 year old Granddaughter's nap time when she is here. We dont want it up all the time and as many others have compalined the rail will not fold all the way down on most beds. For us it needed 2 more inches of clearance. I found a product called "Raise Its" on [...]. They are furnitures risers. You can raise the bed one inch or two inches with one set of these. There are 8 in a set - each is one inch high and they are stackable. They are very durable and support 600 lbs per bed leg. I ordered them and they were just right. The rail goes down perfectly and I can store my wrapping paper bins under the bed too.

We have no complaints. Worked well on our Queen bed when she shared it with us, and worked fine with twin bed frame bottom of bunk bed!

It seems nice but it does not fit in my son's new bed. Not only is the fold-down feature not applicable if there is a wood frame on the bed, but the brackets that hold the rail to allow it to fold do not fit between the mattress and the frame of the bed.

I can't possibly imagine how someone could say this took 3 hours to assemble! I put this together in under 3 minutes and didn't even look at the directions. It was self-explanatory! I only reviewed them to check that I was right (I was). Installing was a breeze, and I have a convertible crib/toddler bed. This product is perfect for what it costs and I am THRILLED I didn't spend $80 on a convertible bed rail.

We bougth 2 of theses. We could not get this model to stay locked against the bed. As a result, my son kept falling between the bed and the bed rail. It scared me a lot. We kept tryign to make it tighter but we are smart people and we could not get it to work. We gave up and removed it. I wish I could return it frankly.

I read many reviews on this item and decided to get it. My husband had taken down the front side to our daughter's 3-way (crib/day bed/full bed) and while she was excited to get into her "big girl bed" I knew she would fall out because she is such a fish at night! Anyway, he was working so I opened it and even tho I do not like doing this stuff I must admit it was pretty easy. Sure, you have to look at the pictures and maybe read one or two lines more than once but it's NOT brain surgery! As her bed is now (day bed fashion) the bedrail is too long to allow the 9 inches they say it needs at both the head and foot, so I just set it up so it is flush up where her head is at the pillow end and then she has a small area to scoot her body in and out at the foot end. No big deal.

This is the only bedrail I could find to fit our king size bed. Great product and very easy to put together. I'm going to order another one for the bottom of the bed.

I'm not sure why some people on here said that they found it to be difficult to put together. It was so easy my husband didn't have to help me at all. I think people are so use to picture and not reading. All you have to do is read as you put it together. and there is a picture on the back of the box if you need it...LOL

we use bought this for my daughter's bed she is 4 years old. Its perfect! easy to open and close... and looks nice. Does take a few minutes to assemble but soo worth it.
