Nearly doubles in size daily, swims upside down, performs acrobatics, teaches science, simple, fun, and easy to grow and care for. This is our newest, all-inclusive kit. Lab kit includes clear view aquarium and lid, color information booklet, instruction booklet, sealed nutrient pack, fossil replica, 30-50 cultured triops eggs, triops food packet, thermometer strip, magnifying ruler, decorative colored gravel and glow-in-the-dark beads.

          I'm so happy I don't have triops yet but I've learned alot about triops. The females can breed without males (males are rarer than females so if you want to breed your very lucky) and they basically eat anything, but if you don't feed them right or not at all they'll become cannibalistic, and yeah its very bad. You can feed them corn, and potatoes but thats all I know. Thanks for reading my review.

            These are fun!My 11 yr old did the kit all by himself.He also did seamonkys a while back.If you take good care of them then you don't have to worry about algae.Only get these if you can do sea monkeys.If you can keep these for more than a week then you can take care of fish.The instuctions were unclear but you can deal with it just fine.Soak gravel and glow beads before adding them to the tank.Only add about three eggs.They get pretty big ( 3 inches ) so keep a bigger tank. My son's died in a ph disaster. keep them warm and well fed, compatible with fish if fed well.Eats anything.( potatoes carrots are a favorite. ) Only feed real food after about a week or two.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
