Big blocks for little hands! Oversized, easier-to-handle design enables children to apply a whole-hand grasp to manipulate the blocks as they sort, stack and build. Help develop math skills by creating patterns, either by color or size order. Continue math concepts by counting the blocks or counting the connector points on each block.       My mom, an elementary school teacher, brought home a set of these blocks for our daughter to play with at her house. We didn't guess she would enjoy them as early or as much as she does. She started playing with them at seven months, and truly enjoying them. She even received her own set from grandma for Christmas. She can't quite put them together yet, to build things, but she loves the shapes and colors. The are so durable and easy to clean. And I love that there's no structure to them, it really helps develop imagination. Every child should have a set of blocks!

        These blocks are so much better than the other block options out there for toddlers. They are easy for our 2-year old to hold and they grip well to build tall buildings. My son uses these to count, learn his colors, and play pretend (he loves to build garages for all of his cars). The numerous blocks do create some chaos in our living room and they're small enough to end up under our couch, but still well worth it!

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
