Also create your own visual effects with a spiral wheel block and more nicely decorated blocks! Primary colors or trend color mix gives you endless building possibilities, as big as your imagination. A few construction ideas are printed on the bag to help you start! This toy comes with several blocks that allow kids building as big as their imagination.

This toy has also been evaluated by National Lekotek Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making the world accessible to children of all abilities. Lekotek offers the following additional information:

Big blocks for little hands! Oversized, easier-to-handle design enables children to apply a whole-hand grasp to manipulate the blocks as they sort, stack and build. Help develop math skills by creating patterns, either by color or size order. Continue math concepts by counting the blocks or counting the connector points on each block. Introduce or reinforce the concept of alike and different, as well as size discrimination (bigger/smaller), by having your child identify by sight or feel the differences in block sizes. Best of all, this activity offers the opportunity for peer socialization and cooperative play as children work together to construct a fun time!

    Although my daughter does play with these quite a bit, they don't snap together well and I find that she is easily fustrated. Lego brand I know stays together better.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      Definitely love this item. I use them in therapy all the time. My clients can build and sort by color with helps with motor skills. I recommend this item for a parent with a special needs child.

      Our 2 year old daughter loves this toy. She likes to "build castles" everyday, several times a day. She can play by herself for 30 minutes or longer with her blocks and is an excellent builder. Her castles are awesome. We have 3 bags of blocks and are going to get 3-5 more so she can keep on building.

      My son did not like this toy other than for something to throw around. The blocks don't stay together very well at all. He would try to build a tower and it would fall apart very easily and he would get mad. He liked the different colors and some that we used in the tub.
