Awesome Ride!

I bought this for my boyfriend's children (ages 3 and 8). My yard is all rugged and not at all perfect for the traditional power wheels. When I read about the Monster Traction, it was match made in heaven! The 3 year old won't stop asking to go out and the 8 year old loves trying to do tricks on top of it while the 3 year old drives. They literally are doing the OFF ROAD equivialant in my mulch piles and uneven terrain from where an above ground pool had been on unlevel ground. Only downfall is the battery doesn't outlast the children!!! So I bought a second battery but it still takes 14 hours minimum to charge the batteries and often the kids are ready to go before then!

I bought this for my 3 year old. SHE loves it. We live in the country on a dirt road so we needed a heavy duty toy. This one fit the bill by the advertising (Ultimate Terrain for gravel, dirt, mud, grass). This is our problem, ONE daily ride down our gravel road per day for TWO WEEKS .... the hard plastic tires are cracked and there are multiple holes in them. My daughter is 3 and 25 pounds and it is only run in the 2.5 slow speed since she has not learned to steer yet. I am disappointed that a machine this hyped up for off road has those same "BAD" hard tires that the cheap machines have. That they cannot handle simple road gravel .... I can replace them but, I can see I am going to be spending ALOT of money on tires unless I can find some way to convert them to RUBBER TIRES which should have been standard on a toy such as this one. For the cost of this ...... the tires really suck. Other than that, my daughter LOVES it and we have decorated it with stickers (name, flowers & butterflies) to make it a a more girly looking Jeep. IF YOU LIVE IN THE COUNTRY ON A DIRT ROAD OR DRIVEWAY - BE WARNED - YOU WILL NEED TIRES FREQUENTLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Got this for my son's 3rd birthday and haven't had any issues with it at all. It's easy for him to control and he's learned quickly about stopping and going. The assembly took about an hour and half, overall, but it was time well spent. The radio works fine sometimes, but it isn't the main reason we bought the Jeep, so it's not a big deal.

      I bought this when my son was 3. He took to it immediately. Then our neighbor, who was 6, took to it. Then our other neighbors, ages 2 & 5, took to it. Then our other, other neighbor, age 4, took to it. This thing is RUGGED. We've NEVER, EVER, EVER done any maintenance on this thing & it's been running for 5 yrs STRONG! Wow. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED by 5 neighborhood children. Batteries do not last the longest, so I bought another one just so ALL the kids could have a turn driving. 5 yrs later, ALL the kids are still using it (OLDEST is age 11!!)... and our other, other, OTHER neighbors with 3 kids, love it too. Awesome toy for 8 kids to share... and they do! a definite RECOMMEND!!!!

      My kids grandparents and us went in together and got one of these for my son he is 4 now and our first one got where it would not go back wards we drove 2 1/2 hrs to get it fixed and got home my son drove it less than 5 min and it quit wouldn't go either way so we ended up calling toys r us and thay gave us a new one and now with the new one we have had it 5 months and the wheels are about to fall in and the battery wont stay charged very long I would not recommend buying one of these toys!!!!!!"

          My 3 year old loved riding this Jeep Hurricane. It was fast and ran great until the gear broke in it. The thing has been in the shop a total of three times in less than a years time. It is always the same thing the big white gear in the rear that breaks. I have called the company and complained several times, but now it is not under warranty and they will not repair for free. Come on guys it is the same thing each time and everyone I see commenting have the same thing happen to their jeep.

                Don't purchase a Power Wheel for, Toys R Us. We received one as a gift, an older model apparently out of warranty, BROKEN from day 1. We can't return or exchange it however because it's an older model and out of date! what a TOTAL waist of money. SO disappointing! Fisher Proce dot com was even MOTE useless! Disgusted BEWARE!!

                Only Pro was the Box it came on, that the ONLY play we have gotten from this toy!

                    We bought this for our daughter for her second birthday after seeing her love playing with a different one at a friend's house. We have a large backyard with lots of trees, underbrush and dirt. She is able to get through the entire back yard. We also had the jeep running for at least 3 hours in our backyard during our party with two kids riding and the battery is till going great. The jeep does take two to three hours to assemble yourself and you do need to charge the battery ahead of time so the store put together might be a good option.
