          I have two girls (3 & 4) and Santa brought them both one for Christmas this year. They LOVED them and use them everyday.
          The only thing that could be improved is that the light is not very bright and the drawer comes all the way out so sometimes they drop it.

          This is an amazing 1st vanity. Durable, not overly huge, and easy assembly. My 3 yr old loves this. She has room for all her faux jewels, brushes, curlers, faux curling iron and hair dryer. She even has her boa around the mirror. I would recommend this for ages up to around Kindergarten, after Kindergarten I would get a nicer woooden one. Two flaws are the light (which works) does not give off any real light. Also, the vanity top has room for lipsticks and such. I don't let my 3 yr old play with real makeup unsupervised so I would rather have flat compartments to put in anything (nonspecific), instead it has holes to stand up cosmetics.
          All in all, I think this is a great vanity and would definately recommend this to others.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
